सा.का.नि. 46(अ). केन्द्रीय सरकार सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 ( 1962 का 52) की धारा 25 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं. 153/2009-सीमा- शुल्क, तारीख 31 दिसम्बर , 2009 जो भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप - खण्ड ( i ) , में सा.का.नि. 944 ( अ) , तारीख 31 दिसम्बर, 2009 द्वारा प्रकाशित हुई थी , में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है यथा :-
उक्त अधिसूचना में , परिशिष्ट 1 में , क्रम सं. 7 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित क्रम सं. और प्रविष्टिअतः स्थापित की जायेंगी , यथा :---

G. S.R. 46(E ). In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- section ( 1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act , 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government , on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , No. 153/2009- Customs , dated the 31st December , 2009 which was published in the Gazette ofIndia, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( i) vide number G. S.R. 944 ( E), dated the 31st December , 2009 , namely:--
Inthe said notification , in the Appendix I , after serial number 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be inserted , namely :-

Note : The principal notification No. 153 /2009 -Customs , dated the 31st December , 2009 was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3, Sub -section ( i) , vide number GS.R. 944 ( F ) , dated the 31st December, 2009 and was last amended by notification No. 135 /2010- Customs dated the 31st December , 2010 which was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub-section ( i) , vide number G.S.R. 1037 ( E) , dated the31st December , 2010 .

In the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue), No. 79/2010 -Customs , dated the 30th July, 2010 published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub- section (i ) vide number G.S.R. 646(E), dated the 30th July, 2010, in the Note:---
(i) for the letters and words , " PVC films and tarpaulins " read " tarpaulins " ; and
(ii) for the letters and words , " PVC Rigid Films " read " PVC films " .
