सा.का.नि. 57(अ).-यतः केन्द्र सरकार यह समीचीन समझती है कि कुछ स्थानों में अनधिकृत व्यक्तियों के प्रवेश को रोकने के लिए विशेष पूर्वोपाय किए जाने चाहिएं;
अतः अब, शासकीय गुप्त बात अधिनियम, 1923 ( 1923 का 19 ) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( 8 ) के उप- खण्ड ( घ ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों हेतु , एतद्वारा नीचे दी गई तालिका के कॉलम ( 1 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट स्थान को निषिद्ध स्थान घोषित करती है तथा उक्त स्थान की अवस्थिति एवं विवरण का उल्लेख उसी तालिका के कॉलम (2 ) में किया गया है , अर्थात्:-

G.S.R. 57 ( E ) . Whereas , the Central Government considers it expedient that special precautions should be taken to prevent the entry of unauthorised persons into certain places;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - clause (d) of clause (8) of Section 2 of the Official Secrets Act , 1923 ( 19 of 1923 ), the Central Government for the purposes of the said Act , hereby declares the place specified in column ( 1 ) of the following Table to be a prohibited place and the locality and description of the said place is mentioned in Column ( 2) of the said Table , namely:----
