का.आ. 218 (अ) . जबकि केन्द्रीय सरकार ने आयकर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 35 कग के साथ पठित आयकर नियमावली, 1962 के नियम 11 छ द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, 2 जनवरी , 1992 के भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उप- खंड ( ii ) में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार , वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की दिनांक 2 जनवरी , 1992 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 5 ( अ) , यथासंशोधित का. आ. 926 ( अ ) , तारीख 22 दिसम्बर 1994 , सं. का. आ. 892( अ) , तारीख 23 दिसम्बर , 1997 , अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 444( अ ) , तारीख 21 मई , 2001 तथा का.आ. 1258 ( अ ) , दिनांक 9 नवम्बर , 2004 और अधिसूचना संख्या 227 ( अ ) , दिनांक 1 फरवरी , 2008 द्वारा सामाजिक और आर्थिक कल्याण की अभिवृद्धि के लिए राष्ट्रीय समिति गठित की थी ;
और जबकि केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा आयकर नियमावली , 1962 के नियम 11छ के उप - नियम ( 1 ) के अनुसार उपरोक्त अधिसूचना द्वारा उक्त समिति के अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों के रूप में चौदह सदस्यों की नियुक्ति की गई थी ;
और जबकि उक्त समिति के अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्यों की कालावधि 31 जनवरी , 2011 को समाप्त हो गई है ;
अतः , अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार आयकर नियमावली , 1962 के नियम 11 छ के उप- नियम ( 1 ) और ( 3 ) के साथ पठित आयकर अधिनियम , 1961 (1961 का 43 ) की धारा 35 कग द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए निम्नलिखित व्यक्तियों को इस अधिसूचना के प्रभावी होने की तारीख से 3 वर्षों की अवधि के लिए सामाजिक और आर्थिक कल्याण की अभिवृद्धि के लिए राष्ट्रीय समिति के अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों के रूप में नियुक्त करती है :

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st February, 2011
S.O.218(E ) , Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 35AC of the Income- tax Act , 1961 ( 43 of 1961) read with rule 11G of the Income Tax Rules , 1962, the Central Government constituted the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare vide notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue ) number S.O. 5 (E) , dated the 2nd January, 1992 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub - section ( ii ) , dated the 2nd January, 1992 as amended by notification numbers S.O. 926 ( E) , dated the 22nd December , 1994; notification number S.O. 892 (E) , dated the 23rd December, 1997; notification number S.O. 444( E) , dated the 21st May, 2001; notification number S.O. 1258 (E) , dated the 9th November, 2004 and notification number 227 (E), dated 1st February, 2008;
Andwhereas , in terms of sub -rule (1 ) of Rule 11G of the Income Tax Rules , 1962, by the aforesaid notification, fourteen person were appointed by the Central Government as Chairman and members of the said Committee ;
Andwhereas , the term of the Chairman and members of the aforesaid Committee ended on 31st January, 2011.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 35AC of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ) read with sub-rule (1) and (3) ofrule 11 G of the Income Tax Rules , 1962, the Central Government hereby appoints the following persons as Chairman and members ofthe National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare for a period of three years commencing on the date of this notification :
