विषय : गैर - बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर निषेध सोना मसूरी , पोन्नी साम्बा और मट्टा चावल के निर्यात हेतु छूट के संबंध में
का.आ. 318 (अ). विदेश व्यापार नीति , 2009-2014 के पैरा 2.1 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार ( विकास एवं विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1992 ( 1992 की संख्या 22 ) की धारा 5 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार , एतद्वारा , समय - समय पर यथासंशोधित अधिसूचना संख्या 93 ( आर ई -2007 ) / 2004-2009 दिनांक 1 अप्रैल , 2008 के साथ पठित अधिसूचना संख्या 38 ( आरई -2007 )/ 2004-2009 दिनांक 15 अक्तूबर , 2007 में तत्काल प्रभाव से, निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है :-
2. अधिसूचना सं. 93 ( आर ई -2007 ) /2004-2009 दिनांक 1 अप्रैल , 2008 में अधिसूचना सं. 42/2009-14 द्वारा दिनांक 18 मई , 2010 को उप पैरा 2.1.13 जोड़ा गया था । अब निम्नानुसार एक दूसरे उप - पैरा 2.1.14 को जोड़ा जाता है :-
" 2.1.14 गैर - बासमती चावल की निम्नलिखित किस्में उनके सामने दी गई मात्रा के अनुसार निर्यात के लिए अनुमत होंगी । निश्चित रीति अलग से अधिसूचित की जाएगी ।

3. समय - समय पर यथा संशोधित , अधिसूचना सं. 93 ( आर ई-2007 ) / 2004-09 दिनांक 1 अप्रैल , 2008 के अन्य सभी प्रावधान अपरिवर्तित रहेंगे और लागू रहेंगे ।
4. इस अधिसूचना का प्रभाव :
केएमएस 2010-11 के लिए निर्यात की मात्रा की निश्चित सीमा तक चावल की कुछ किस्मों ( सोना मसूरी , पोन्नी साम्बा और मट्टा ) के निर्यात की अनुमति होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th February, 2011
No. 21 ( RE - 2010)/ 2009-2014
Subject : Prohibition on Export of non - Basmati Rice- Exemption for export of Sona Masuri , Ponni Samba and Matta rice- regarding
S.O. 318 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of Foreign Trade ( Development and Regulation ) Act , 1992 ( No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby makes . with immediate effect , the following amendment to Notification No.38 ( RE - 2007 )/2004-2009 , dated 15th October, 2007 read withNotification No. 93 ( RE - 2007 )/ 2004-2009 dated 1st April , 2008 , as amended from time to time .
2. In Notification No. 93 ( RE - 2007) / 2004-2009 , dated 1st April , 2008 sub - para 2.1.13 was added on 18th May, 2010 vide Notification No. 42 /2009-14 . Now another sub - para 2.1.14 shall be added as under :
"2.1.14 The following varieties of non - Basmati rice as per quantities indicated against each will be allowed for export . The exact modalities will be notified separately.

3. All other provisions of the Notification No. 93 ( RE - 2007 ) /2004-09 , dated 1st April , 2008 , as amended from time to time , shall remain unchanged , and shall continue to apply.
4. Effect of this notification :
Certain varieties of rice ( Sona Masuri , Ponni Samba and Matta ) are permitted to be exported with a limit on quantity ofexport for the KMS 2010-11.
