(200: तः विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम , 2005 28 ) की धारा 53 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार, एतद्वारा दिनांक 9 सितम्बर, 2011 को उस तारीख के रूप में निर्धारित करती है जिस तारीख से उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन को सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 (1962का 52 ) की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो माना जाएगा ।

S.O. 2059(E) . Whereas , M/s . Natasha Housing and Urban Development Limited , a private organisation, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for handicrafts sector at Village Sarai Kohand, Tehsil Panipat , District Panipat and Village Kohand , Tehsil Gharonda, District Karnal in the State of Haryana;
और यतः , विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28 ) की धारा 13 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14 के प्रयोजनार्थ उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के लिए एक समिति जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा, गठित करती है, जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं , अर्थात्:-

And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub - section (8 ) of Section 3 of the said Act , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub - section ( 10) ofSection 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above sector specific Special Economic Zone on 29th November, 2010;

And, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -secion ( 1 ) ofSection 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of Section 14 of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members , namely:-
-Chairperson ex-officio 1. Development Commissioner ofthe Special Economic Zone
-Member, ex-officio 2. Director or Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India
-Member, ex-officio 3. Zonal Joint Director General of Foreign Trade having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone

ex-officiq 4. Commissioner of Customs or Central Excise having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner
---Member,
ex-officio 5. Commissioner of Income Tax having territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank ofJoint Commissioner
-Member, ex-officio 6. Director (Banking) in the Ministry ofFinance, Banking Division , Government of India
---Member, ex-officio 7. Two Officers , not below the rank of Joint Secretary, to be nominated by the State Government
8. Representative of the Developer ofthe zone
-Special Invitee
And , therefore , the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of . Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act , 2005 (28 of 2005 ) , hereby appoints the 9th day of September , 2011 as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shallbe deemed to be Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962(52 of 1962) .
