का. आ. 2246. केन्द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम, 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह अवधारित करती है कि :-
(क) 'स्वामी विवेकानंद 150वीं जयंती " के अवसर का स्मरणोत्सव मनाने के लिए केन्द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी करने के लिए टकसाल में निम्नलिखित अंकित मूल्य के सिक्कों का निर्माण भी किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
( 1 ) एक सौ पचास रुपये ;
(2) पांच रुपये ;
(ख ) उपरोक्त अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के, निम्नलिखित विमाओं, डिजाइन और संघटन के अनुरूप होंगे , अर्थात्:-

मुख भाग
सिक्के के मुख भाग पर अशोक स्तंभ का सिंह शीर्ष होगा जिसके नीचे " सत्यमेव जयते " इबारत अंतर्लिखित होगी , उसकी बांई ऊपरी परिधि पर हिन्दी में " भारत " शब्द और दांई ऊपरी परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में " INDIA " शब्द होगा । इस पर सिंह शीर्ष के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक " र" और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में मूल्य " 150 " भी होगा ।

सिक्के के इस भाग पर मध्य में, "स्वामी विवेकानंद " का चित्र होगा और हिन्दी में बांई ऊपरी परिधि पर "स्वामी विवेकानंद " शब्द और बांई निचली परिधि पर " 150वीं जयंती " शब्द होंगे। अंग्रेजी में दांई ऊपरी परिधि पर " SWAMI VIVEKANANDA " शब्द और दांई निचली परिधि पर " 150 BIRTH ANNIVERSARY " शब्द होंगे । चित्र के बांई ओर वर्ष " 1863 " और चित्र के दांई ओर वर्ष " 1902 " अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में भी लिखा होगा।
2. पांच रुपये

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 28th September, 2011
S.O. 2246 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Coinage Act , 1906 (3 of 1906) , the Central Government hereby determines that :-
(a) the coins of the following denominations shall also be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of " 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda" , namely :--
(1) One Hundred Fifty Rupees;
(3) Five Rupees ;
(b) the coins of the above denominations shall conform to the following dimensions , designs and composition , namely:--

The face ofthe coin shall bear the Lion Capitol ofAshoka Pillar with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते " inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word " भारत" in Hindi and on the right periphery flanked with the word " INDIA " in English . It shall also bear the Rupee symbol " " and denominational value " 150 " in International Numerals below the Lion Capitol.
Reverse
The face of the coin shall bear the portrait of "Swami Vivekananda " in the centre , flanked on the left upper periphery with the word " स्वामी विवेकानन्द" and left lower periphery with the word " 150 वीं जयंती" in Hindi . On the right upper periphery flanked with the word " SWAMI VIVEKANANDA" and right lower periphery with the word " 150 BIRTH ANNIVERSARY" in English . Also left side of the portrait year " 1863 " and right side of the portrait year " 1902 " written in international numeral .
