का.आ. 2420( अ ), जबकि भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियमावली , 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप -धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में, कालीकट विश्वविद्यालय , केरल के आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धति से एक सदस्य को उक्त विश्वविद्यालय के आयुर्वेद संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किया गया है;
अतएव, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार अब स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय में भारत सरकार के तारीख 21 अगस्त, 1971 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 3259 (अ ) में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में, " धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचित " शीर्षक के अधीन तालिका में , निम्नलिखित विश्वविद्यालय के सामने उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्ः-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th October, 2011
S.O. 2420(E ).-Whereas in pursuance of clause (b) of sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970) read with the rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council ( Election) Rules, 1975, one member from the Ayurveda System of Medicine of University of Calicut, Kerala has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of Ayurveda faculty of the said University;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Central Governnient makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India , in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 (E) , dated the 21st August, 1971 , namely: --
In the said notification, under the heading " Elected under clause (b ) of sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 " , in the Table , against the following university for the entries relating thereto , the following entries shall be substituted, namely: --
