फा. सं. 4-1/2008- एलआई . डाकघर जीवन बीमा नियमावली , 2011 के नियम 3 के जरिए प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और दिनांक31-3-2009 की स्थिति के अनुसार डाकघर बीमा निधि की परिसम्पत्तियों और देयताओं के बीमांकिक मूल्यांकन के आधार पर , महानिदेशक (डाक ) सहर्ष 31-3-2009 के समाप्त वर्ष के लिए डाक जीवन बीमा पालिसियों के मृत्यु अथवा परिपक्वता के कारण उत्पन्न दावों पर निम्न दरों से साधारण प्रत्यावर्ती बोनस की घोषणा करते हैं :-
बोनस की दर
बीमा पालिसी का प्रकार
90 रूपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( 1 ) आजीवन बीमा ( डब्ल्यूएलए )
65 रूपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( II ) बंदोबस्ती बीमा (ईए )
60 रूपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( III ) प्रत्याशित बंदोबस्ती बीमा योजना( एईए )
( IV ) परिवर्तनीय आजीवन बीमा पालिसी
आजीवन बीमा बोनस लागू होगा परंतु परिवर्तित किए जाने पर बंदोबस्ती बोनस दर लागू होगी ।
(V) आवधिक ( टर्मिनल) बोनस
20 वर्ष और उससे अधिक की अवधि की आजीवन बीमा पालिसियों और बंदोबस्ती बीमा पालिसियों के लिये 10,000 रूपए प्रति बीमित राशि पर 20 रूपए और अधिकतम 1,000 रूपए तक
2. वर्ष 2008-09 के लिए बोनस की दर सर्किलों द्वारा इस अधिनियम की प्राप्ति की तारीख से लागू होगी और यह प्राप्त किए गए उन दावों पर भी लागू होगी जिन्हें इस अधिसूचना की प्राप्ति की तारीख तक निपटाया नहीं गया है ।

3. जब तक आगे का मूल्यांकन पूरा नहीं हो जाता है तब तक परिपक्वता अथवा मृत्यु के कारण उत्पन्न सभी दावों पर भी उपरोक्त दरों पर अंतरिम बोनस का भुगतान किया जाएगा ।
4. 50 पैसे अथवा उससे अधिक के अंश की बोनस राशि को एक रुपए के पूर्णांक में परिवर्तित कर दिया जाएगा और 50 पैसे के अंश से कम को गिना नहीं जाएगा ।
5. इसे वित्त सलाह( डाक ) की सहमति से उनके दिनांक4-1-2012 के डायरी सं . 9/FA/12/CS के जरिए जारी किया जाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 5th January, 2012
F. No. 4-1/2008 - LI. In exercise of powers conferred vide Rule 3 of Post Office Life Insurance Rules , 2011 and on the basis ofActuarial valuation of the assets and liabilities of Post Office Insurance Fund as on 31-3-2009 , the Director General (Posts ) is pleased to declare a simple reversionary bonus for the year ending 31-3-2009 , on the Postal Life Insurance Policies on their becoming claims , due to death or maturity at the following rates:
Rate of Bonus
Type of Insurance Policy
Rs.90 per thousand sum assured
(I)Whole Life Assurance (WLA)
Rs.65 per thousand sum assured
(II )Endowment Assurance
(EA)
Rs.60 per thousand sum assured
(III) Anticipated Endowment Policies (AEA )
(IV) Convertible Whole Life Policies
Whole Life Bonus rate will by applicable but on conversion, endowment bonus rate will be applicable.
(V)Terminal Bonus
Rs.20 per sum assured of Rs.10 , 000 subject to maximum of Rs.1,000 for Whole life policies and Endowment policies with term of 20 years and above .
2. The rate of bonus for the year 2008-09 will be applicable from the date of receipt of this Notification by the Circles and this will also be applicable to claim cases received but not settled till the date of receipt of this Notification.
3. Interim Bonus at the rates mentioned above will also be payable for all claims arising due to maturity or death until future valuation is completed .
4. The amount of Bonus involving a fraction of 50 paise or more shall be rounded off to the next higher Rupee and fraction below 50 paise shall be ignored.
5. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Advice (Postal ) vide their Dy.No. 9/FA/ 12/ CS dated 04.01.2012 .
