का.आ. 85( अ), गर्भधारण- पूर्व और प्रसव पूर्व नैदानिक तकनीक ( लिंग चयन का निषेध ) अधिनियम , 1994 की धारा 8 के साथ पठित धारा 7 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय , भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी की गई दिनाक 28 अप्रैल , 2011 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 961 (अ ) , में निम्नलिखित और सशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-

केन्द्रीय पर्यवेक्षी बोर्ड ( कार्य सचालन ) विनियम , 1999 के विनियम 5 के साथ पठित गर्भधारण-पूर्व और प्रसव- पूर्व नैदानिक तकनीक ( लिंग चयन का निषेध ) अधिनियम , 1994 की धारा 11 ( 1 ) के संदर्भ में उक्त अधिसूचना में क्र.सं. 27 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टिके लिए अगले आदेशों तक केन्द्रीय पर्यवक्षी बोर्ड में एक विशेष आर्मीत्रती के रूप में सुश्री वृंदा करात , पूर्व , ससद सदस्य सभा के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित को प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा :-

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 read with Section 8 of the Pre - Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification No. S.O. 961 (E) , dated the 28th April, 2011 issuedby the Government of India , in the Ministry ofHealth and Family Welfare, namely:-.

Interms ofSection 11 ( 1) of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection)Act, 1994 read with regulation 5 of the Central SupervisoryBoard (Transaction ofBusiness ) Regulation, 1999, for serial number 27 and the entry relating thereto in the said Notification, the following shall be substituted viceMs.Brinda Karat, Former Member ofParliament, Rajya Sabha, as a Special Invitee in the Central Supervisory Board (CSB) till further orders :
