(घ) स्तंभ 7 में 18 से 25 के बीच " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर , " 18 से 27 वर्ष के बीच " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे;

(ङ) स्तंभ 8 में , विद्यमान प्रविष्टियां के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएगी , अर्थात् -
(i ) किसी मान्यताप्राप्त बोर्ड या विश्वविद्यालय से 12वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण या समतुल्य अर्हता ।
सा.का.नि. 59(अ).-राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , डाक विभाग (सिविल विंग में आशुलिपिक ग्रेड- III ) नियम, 1995 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम डाक विभाग ( सिविल विंग में आशुलिपिक ग्रेड- II ) संशोधन नियम , 2012 है ।
(ii ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशने की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
( ii ) कौशल परीक्षण मानक श्रुतलेख 10 मिनट मे 80 शब्द प्रतिमिनट की दर पर अनुलिपि मैनुअल टाइपराइटर पर 65 मिनट (अंग्रेजी ) , 75 मिनट ( हिन्दी ) अथवा ( कम्प्यूटर परं) 50 मिनट ( अंग्रेजी ) , 65 मिनट (हिन्दी);
2. डाक विभाग ( सिविल विंग में आशुलिपिक ग्रेड- III ) नियम, 1995 की अनुसूची में:-
(च) स्तंभ 11 में विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी, अर्थात्:- " कर्मचारी चयन आयोग के माध्यम से सीधी भर्ती । " (क) स्तंभ 1 में " 6. आशुलिपिक ग्रेड- III" प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर " आशुलिपिक ग्रेड- II" प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी;
(ख ) पदों की संख्या से संबंधित स्तंभ 2 में " 43 * ( 1995 ) " अंकों , तारांकित और कोष्ठकों के स्थान पर " 34 (2012 ) " अंक , तारांकित और कोष्ठक रखे जाएंगे अर्थात्;
(ग) स्तंभ 4 में,
टिप्पणी: पदधारी की प्रतिनियुक्ति या लम्बी बीमारी या अध्ययन छुटी या किन्हीं अन्य परिस्थितियों के अधीन एक वर्ष या उससे अधिक अवधि के लिए बाहर रहने के कारण हुई रिक्तियां केन्द्रीय सरकार के ऐसे पदधारियों में से भरी जा सकेंगी जो नियमित आधार पर सदृश पदधारण किए हुए हैं, और जिनके पास स्तंभ 8 पर सीधे भर्ती किए जाने वाले व्यक्तियों के लिए अर्हताएं हैं । "
( i ) स्तंभ शीर्षक के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा अर्थात्
(छ)
" वेतन बैड और ग्रेड वेतन/वेतनमान "
( i ) स्तंभ 12 की प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:- " लागू नही होता । "
(ii) विद्यमान प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जाएगी , अर्थात्:--
" वेतन बैंड 1 , 5200-20200 रु. , ग्रेड वेतन 2400 रु. "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 27th January, 2012
GS.R. 59 (E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Department ofPosts (Stenographer Grade- III, in the Civil Wing) Rules , 1995 , namely :-
1. ( i) These rules may be called Department ofPosts, StenographerGrade- II in Civil Wing (Amendment) Rules , 2012.
(ii ) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Department of Posts ( Stenographer Grade- III in Civil Wing) Rules , 1995 , in the Schedule:-
(a) In column No.1 for the entry " 6. Stenographer Gr- III" , the entry " Stenographer Grade - II " shall be substituted;
(b) in column 2, relating to the Number ofPosts , for the figures , astrick and brackets "43 * ( 1995 )", the figures , astrick and brackets " 34 (2012) " shall be substituted namely;
(c) in column4,
(1) For the column heading , the following heading shall be substituted namely :-
"Pay Band and Grade Pay/ Pay Scale" .
(ii) for the existing entry the following entry shall be substituted, namely :---
"Pay Band -1 , Rs.5200-20200 , Grade Pay Rs.2400"

(d) in coloum 7, for the words and number "between 18 to 25" the words and numbers "between 18 to 27 years " shali be substituted.
(e) in column 8 , for the existing entries the following entries shall be substituted, namely:----
(1) 12th class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.
(ii) Skill Test Norms :
Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m.
Transcription:
65minutes (English ), 75 minutes (Hindi ) (On manual typewriter) or 50 minutes (English) , 65 minutes (Hindi ) ( On computer)
(f) in column 11 , for existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted , namely:-
"Direct recruitment through Staff Selection Commission" .
Note: Vacancies caused by the incumbent being away on deputation or long illness or study leave or under other circumstances for a duration of one year or moremay be filled on deputation from the officials ofthe Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis and possessing the qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment at column 8. "
(g) (1) in column 12 , Entry shall be substituted namely :-
"NotApplicable" .
