का.आ. 288 (अ).- राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 239 के खण्ड ( 1 ) के अनुसरण में , एतद्वारा यह निदेश देती हैं कि राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल , राष्ट्रपति के नियंत्रण के अध्यधीन और अगले आदेशों तक, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र दिल्ली में इसको लागू करने में दण्ड प्रक्रिया संहिता , 1973 ( 1974 का 2 ) की धारा 8 के अंतर्गत राज्य सरकार की शक्तियों का प्रयोग करेंगे और उसके कार्यों का निर्वहन भी करेंगे ।

S.O. 288 (E ) . In pursuance of clause ( 1 ) of Article 239 ofthe Constitution , the President hereby directs that the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall , subject to the control of the President and until further orders , also exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the State Government under Section 8 ofthe Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973 (2 of 1974) in its application to the National Capital Territory of Delhi .
