का.आ. 296 (अ).-विनाशक कीट और नाशी जीव अधिनियम , 1914 ( 1914 का 2 ) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , वनस्पति संगरोध ( भारत में आयात विनियमन) आदेश , 2003 में पुनः संशोधन करने के लिए केन्द्रीय सरकार निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है , अर्थात:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ. ( 1 ) इस आदेश को वनस्पति संगरोध ( भारत में आयात का विनियमन ) ( प्रथम संशोधन ) आदेश, 2012 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) यह राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा ।
2. अनुसूची VI का संशोधन. वनस्पति संगरोध ( भारत में आयात का विनियमन ) आदेश, 2003 अनुसूची VI में
(i ) कॉलम (4 ) में क्रम सं. 207 के सामने मेकेडेमिया विशिष्ट ( मेकेडेमिया नट्स ) के लिए संबंधित (6 ) में उनसे प्रविष्टियों के बाद कॉलम 3 के सामनें मद ( 1 ) क्रमशः निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , नामतः
" ( i ) 21 °C पर 24 घंटों के लिए 32 ग्राम प्रति क्यूबिक मीटर पर मिथाईल ब्रोमाईट के साथ घूमन या इससे उच्च या इसके सामान
या
24 घंटों के लिए 60°C पर ताप उपचार या. भारत सरकार के पौध संरक्षण सलाहकार द्वारा विधिवत् अनुमोदित कोई अन्य उपचार/मूल/पृष्ठांकित होना चाहिए ।
( ii ) मृदा और संगरोध खरपतवार बीजों से मुक्त । "
( ii ) क्रम संख्या 679 के बाद और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के बाद निम्नलिखित क्रम संख्या और प्रविष्टियां अंतःस्थापित की जाएंगी , नामतः :

S.O. 296 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003 , namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.---( 1 ) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) ( FirstAmendment) Order , 2012 .
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of Schedule VI.- In the Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order,2003 ,- [ भाग II- खण्ड 3 ( ii ) ]

(i) Against serial number 207 , relating to Macadamia spp . (Macadarnia nuts) the existing entries in column (6) against item (i) of column 3 shall be substituted by the following entries , namely :-
"(i ) Fumigation with Methyl bromide at 32 gram per cubic metre for 24 hrs . at 21 ° C and above or equivalent.
or
Heat treatment at 60 °C for 24 hours or any other treatment duly approved by the Plant Protection Adviser to the Government of India. The treatment should be endorsed on phytosanitary certificate issued at the country of origin/ re-export.
(ii) Freedom from soil and quarantine weed seeds ."
( ii) After serial number 769 and the entires relating thereto , the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely :-
