सं. 5-1 /2007- एलआई.ड जीवन बीमा नियमावली , 2011 के नियम 3 के जरिए प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और दिनांक 31-3-2009 की स्थिति के अनुसार ग्रामीण डाकघर बीमा निधि की परिसम्पत्तियों और देयताओं के बीमाकिक मूल्यांकन के आधार पर , महानिदेशक ( डाक ) सहर्ष 31-3-2009 को सभाप्त वर्ष के लिए ग्रामीण डाक जीवन बीमा पालिसियों के मृत्यु अथवा परिपक्वता के कारण उत्पन्न दावों पर निम्न दरों से साधारण प्रत्यावर्ती बोनस की घोषणा करते है :-
बीमा पालिसी का प्रकार
बोनस की दर
65 रुपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( I ) आजीवन बीमा ( डब्ल्यू एल ए )
50 रुपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( II ) बंदोबस्ती बीमा ( ईए )
( III ) प्रत्याशित बंदोबस्ती बीमा
47 रुपए प्रति हजार बीमित राशि
( IV) परिवर्तनीय आजीवन बीमा पालिसी
आजीवन बीमा बोनस लागू होगा परंतु परिवर्तित किए जाने पर बंदोबस्ती बोनस दर लागू होगी ।
2. वर्ष 2008-09 के लिए बोनस की दर सर्किलों द्वारा इस अधिसूचना की प्राप्ति की तारीख से लागू होगी और यह प्राप्त किए गए उन दावों पर भी लागू होगी जिन्हें इस अधिसूचना की प्राप्ति की तारीख तक निपटाया नहीं गया है ।
3. जब तक आगे का मूल्यांकन पूरा नहीं हो जाता है तब तक परिपक्वता अथवा मृत्यु के कारण उत्पन्न सभी दावों पर भी उपरोक्त दरों पर अंतरिम बोनस का भुगतान किया जाएगा ।
4. से कम को गिना नहीं जाएगा । 50 पैसे अथवा उससे अधिक के अंश की बोनस राशि को एक रुपए के पूर्णांक में परिवर्तित कर दिया जाएगा और 50 पैसे के अंश
5. इसे वित्त सलाह ( डाक ) की सहमति से उनके दिनांक 25-10-2012 के डायरी सं. 1356 के जरिए जारी किया जाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 29th October, 2012
No. 5-1 / 2007- LI .- In exercise of powers conferred vide Rule 3 of Post Office Life Insurance Rules , 2011 and on the basis of Actuarial Valuation of the Assets and Liabilities of Rural Post Office Insurance Fund as on 31-3-2009, the Director General (Posts ) is pleased to declare a simple reversionary Bonus for the year ending 31-3-2009 on the Rural Postal Life Insurance Policies on their becoming claims , due to death or maturity at the following rates :
Rate of Bonus
Type of Insurance Policy
Rs . 65 per thousand sum assured
(1) Whole Life Assurance ( WLA)
Rs . 50 per thousand sum assured
(II) Endowment Assurance (EA )
Rs. 47 per thousand sum assured
(III) Anticipated Endowment Assurance
(IV) Convertible Whole Life Policies
Whole life bonus rate would be applicable but on conversion, endowment bonus rate will be applicable .
2. The rate of Bonus for the year 2008-09 will be applicable from the date of receipt of this Notification by the Circles and this will also be applicable to claim cases received but not settled till the date of receipt of this Notification.
3. Interim Bonus at the rates mentioned above will also be payable for all claims arising due to maturity or death until future valuation is completed.
4. The amount of Bonus involving a fraction of 50 paise or more shall be rounded off to the next higher Rupee and fraction below 50 paise shall be ignored.
5. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Advice (Postal ) vide their Dy. No. 1356 dated 25-10-2012 .
