का.आ. 2690(अ). जबकि भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियम, 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में , हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय , शिमला ( हिमाचल प्रदेश ) की आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धति के एक सदस्य को उक्त विश्वविद्यालय के आयुर्वेद संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किया गया है ;
अतएव , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार अब भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्यऔर परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की तारीख 21 अगस्त, 1971 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 3259 ( अ ) में निम्नांकित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:--
उक्त अधिसूचना में , तालिका में " धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचित " शीर्षक के अधीन, निम्नलिखित विश्वविद्यालय और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th November, 2012
S.O. 2690 (E ) . Whereas in pursuance of clause ( b) of sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of The Indian Medicine Central CouncilAct, 1970 ( 48 of 1970) read with rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election) Rules , 1975, one member fromAyurveda system of Medicine of Himachal Pradesh University Shimla ( Himachal Pradesh ) has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of Ayurveda faculty of the said University;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act , the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 (E) , dated the 21st August 1971 , namely :
In the said notification , under the heading "Elected under clause (b ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 3 " , in the Table , against the following university and the entries relating thereto , the following entries shall be substituted , namely :---
