का.आ. 2816(अ) .-जबकि भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियम , 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में, अमृता विश्व विद्यापीठम विश्वविद्यालय , कोयम्बटूर -641105 ( तमिलनाडु ) की आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धति के एक सदस्य को उक्त विश्वविद्यालय के आयुर्वेद संकाय के सदस्योंद्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किया गया है;
अतएव, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार अब भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय की तारीख 21 अगस्त , 1971 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 3259 ( अ ) , में निम्नांकित और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में , तालिका में " धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचित " शीर्षक के अधीन , निम्नलिखित विश्वविद्यालय और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर , निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 29th November, 2012
S.O. 2816 (E ) .- Whereas in pursuance of clause (b ) of sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of The Indian Medicine Central CouncilAct, 1970 (48 of 1970) read with the rule 23 of the Indian Medicine Central Council (Election ) Rules , 1975 , one member from Ayurveda system of Medicine of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore -641105 (Tamil Nadu) has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of Ayurveda faculty of the said University;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act , the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 (E ) , dated the 21st August 1971 , namely : --
In the said notification , under the heading "Elected under clause (b ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 3 " , in the Table , against the following University and the entries relating thereto , the following entries shall be substituted , namely:---
