The Central Govt, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building, maintenance, management and operation of NH No. 21 in the stretch of land from Km. 73.200 (purposed km. 0.000) to existing Km. 82.000 (purposed km. 8.800) at Punjab Himachal Pradesh Border (Kiratpur-Bilaspur Section) in District Ropar, in the State of Punjab, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
