सा.का.नि. 902(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार , पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम , 2001 ( 2001 का 53 ) की धारा 96 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) के खंड ( 62 ) के साथ पठित धारा 62 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत के नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक के परामर्श से पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार नियम, 2003 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2012 है । (2) ये उनके राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे ।
1. पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण नियम , 2003 के अध्याय 8 में नियम , 74 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित नियम अंतःस्थापति किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:-
" 74.क लेखों का वार्षिक विवरण तैयार करने का प्ररूप-लेखों का वार्षिक विवरण तैयार करने का प्ररूप भारत के नियंत्रक और महालेखापरीक्षक द्वारा केन्द्रीय स्वायत निकायों के लिए यथाविनिर्दिष्ट प्ररूप होगा । "

GS.R. 902 (E ) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( lxii) of sub - section ( 2) of Section 96 read with sub-section ( 1 ) of Section 62 of the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights Act , 2001 (53 of 2001) the Central Government hereby in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India makes the following Rules to further amend the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Rules , 2003 , namely :

1. ShortTitle and Commencement : ( 1 ) These Rules may be called the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights ( Amendment) Rules , 2012 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date oftheir publication in Official Gazette .
2. In Chapter VIII of Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights Rules , 2003 , after Rule 74, the following rule shall be inserted namely:-
" 74A.- Form for preparing annual statement of accounts- The form for preparing annual statement of accounts shall be as specified by the Comptorller and Auditor- General of India for Central autonomous bodies".
