केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय अधिनियम , 2009 के कानून की धारा 11 में प्रस्तावित संशोधन
सं. सीयूटीएन-10 (1) /2012 - वि.. विद्यमान प्रावधान
11. कार्य परिषद की एक बैठक के लिए कार्य परिषद के पाँच सदस्यों को कोरम बनाना होगा ।
(विद्यमान प्रावधान में संरचना उपलब्ध नहीं है)
अनुमोदित संशोधन
11. ( 1) कार्य परिषद का गठन :
कार्य परिषद निम्नलिखित सदस्यों के समावेश से बनेगी , यथा ;
(i ) कुलपति पदेन अध्यक्ष
( ii ) प्रति कुलपति
( iii) विद्यापीठों के दो संकायाध्यक्ष, वरिष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम में , कुलपति द्वारा नामित
(iv) सचिव, मानव संसाधन विकास विभाग अथवा उनका प्रतिनिधि- पदेन सदस्य
(v) दो प्रोफेसर, वरिष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम में, कुलपति द्वारा नामित
(vi) एक सहयोगी प्रोफेसर, वरिष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम में, कुलपति द्वारा नामित
(vii ) शैक्षिक एवं सार्वजनिक जीवन में विशेष योग्यता वाले दो व्यक्ति , कुलपति की अनुशंसा के आधार पर कुलाध्यक्ष द्वारा नामित
(viii ) शैक्षिक/सार्वजनिक जीवन में विशेष योग्यता वाला एक व्यक्ति, कुलपति की अनुशंसा के आधार पर कार्य परिषद द्वारा नामित
(ix) विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग से एक प्रतिनिधि
(x) दो शिक्षाविद, जो विश्वविद्यालय में सेवारत नहीं, विद्या परिषद की अनुशंसा के आधार पर कुलपति द्वारा नामित

(ऊपर्युक्त संरचना में अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति, अल्पसंख्यकों, महिलाओं और विकलांगों के पर्याप्त प्रतिनिधित्व को सुनिश्चितकरना होगा)
विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव कार्य परिषद के सचिव होंगे।
(2) कार्य परिषद के सदस्यों के कार्यालय की शर्तें :
पदेन सदस्य को छोड़कर, कार्य परिषद के सभी सदस्य तीन साल की अवधि के लिए पद धारण करेंगे ।
(3) कार्य परिषद की बैठक का कोरम :
अध्यक्ष को छोड़कर कार्य परिषद के कुल सदस्यों में से आधे सदस्यों को कार्य परिषद की एक बैठक के लिए कोरम बनाना होगा।

Amendments to Section 11 of statute of the Central Universities Act, 2009
No. CUTN - 10 ( 1 ) /2012 - Legal . Existing Provision
11. Fivemembers of the Executive Council shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Executive Council .
( In the existing provision , the composition is not available)
Amended Provision
11. (1) Constitution of the Executive Council :
The Executive Council shall consist of the following members , namely ;
( i) ViceChancellor- Ex - officio Chairman
(ii) The Pro- Vice- Chancellor
(iii) Two Deans of Schools , by rotation according to the seniority to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor
( iv) Secretary, Department of HRD or his representative- Ex - officio Member
(v) Two professors by rotation according to the seniority, to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor
(vi) OneAssociate Professor by rotation , according to seniority, to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor .
(vii) Two persons of distinction in Academic and Public life to be nominated by the Visitor .
(viii ) A person of Academic / Public distinction nominated by the Executive Council on the recommendation of Vice Chancellor .
(ix) Onerepresentative from the University Grants Commission
(x) Two academicians not in the service of University to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor on the recommendation of the Academic Council.

(Adequate representation of SC/ST, Minorities, Women and Persons with Disabilities to be ensured in the above composition)
The Registrar of the University shall be the Secretary to the Executive Council .
(2) Terms of office of the members of the Executive Council :
All themembers of the Executive Council , other than ex - officio members , shall hold office for a term of three years .
(3) Quorum of meetings of the Executive Council :
Half of the total members of the Executive Council including atleast two external members and excluding the Chairman shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Executive Council .

(vii) दो सहयोगी प्रोफेसर, वरिष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम में, कुलपति द्वारा नामित
(viii) दो सहायक प्रोफेसर, वरिष्ठता के अनुसार चक्रानुक्रम में, कुलपति द्वारा नियुक्त
(ix) ग्रंथालयाध्यक्ष
विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव विद्या परिषद के सचिव होंगे।
(2) संकायाध्यक्ष, विद्यार्थी कल्याण पदेन सदस्य होंगे।
(ऊपर्युक्त संरचना में अनुसूचित जाति /अनुसूचित जनजाति, अल्पसंख्यकों, महिलाओं और विकलांगों के पर्याप्त प्रतिनिधित्व कोसुनिश्चित करनाहोगा)

(vi) Three eminent persons from the field of Technology/ Industry/ Finance/ Education to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor.
(vii) Two Associate Professors by rotation according to seniority, to be appointed by the Vice Chancellor .
(viii ) Two Assistant Professors by rotation according to seniority , to be appointed by the Vice Chancellor.
Librarian
( ix)
TheRegistrar of the University shall be the Secretary to the Academic Council .
(2) Dean of Students' Welfare shall be ex - officio member .
