सा.का.नि. 926(अ) , केन्द्रीय सरकार , सरकारी बचत बैंक अधिनियम , 1873 ( 1873 का 5 ) की धारा 15 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , डाकघर बचत खाता नियम , 1981 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम डाकघर बचत खाता (संशोधन) नियम , 2012है।
( 2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. डाकघर बचत खाता नियम , 1981 के नियम 4क , की सारणी में,-
( क) एकल खाता से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 1 के सामने ,-
( i ) स्तंभ ( 5 ) के नीचे प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम के अधीन मजदूरी , इन नियमों के अधीन सरकारी फायदे और जमाराशियां";
(ii ) स्तंभ ( 6 ) के नीचे प्रविष्टियों में " और मजदूरी पर्ची" शब्दों का लोप किया जाएगा ;

(ख) संयुक्त खाता से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 2 के सामने, -
(i ) स्तंभ ( 5 ) के नीचे प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-
" राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम के अधीन मजदूरी , इन नियमों के अधीन सरकारी फायदे और जमाराशियां";
( ii ) स्तंभ ( 6 ) के नीचे " और मजदूरी पर्ची " शब्दों का लोप किया जाएगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 24th December, 2012
GS.R. 926(E ) . In exercise ofthe powers conferred by Section 15 of the Government Savings Banks Act, 1873 (5 of 1873 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Post Office Savings Account Rules , 1981 , namely:-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Post Office Savings Account(Amendment ) Rules , 2012 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In Post Office Savings Account Rules , 1981 , in rule 4A, in the , Table , -
(a) against serial number 1 relating to Single Account,-
(i) under column ( 5 ) , for the entries , the following entries shall be substituted , namely :-
"Wages under NREG Act , Government benefits and deposits under these rules " ;

(ii) under column (6) , in the entries , the words " and Wage Slip " shall be omitted;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to Joint Account,
(i) under column (5 ) , for the entries , the following entries shall be substituted , namely:
"Wages under NREG Act , Government benefits and deposits under these rules" ;
(ii) under column ( 6 ) , in the entries , the words " and Wage Slip " shall be omitted.
