The Central Govt. after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below is required for building, maintenance, management and operation of NH No. 31D, including construction of By-pass, on the stretch of land from Km. 8.370 to Km. ETC. to km. 128.077 (LHS), (RHS) and km. 138.525 to km. 147.00 of NH-31D in district Jalpaiguri in the State of West Bengal, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
