सा.का.नि. 16(अ).- केन्द्रीय सरकार, जीवन बीमा निगम अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 31 ) की धारा 48 की उपधारा (2) के खंड ( गग) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम श्रेणी-1 अधिकारी ( सेवा के निबंधनों और शर्तों का पुनरीक्षण) नियम, 1985 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम श्रेणी-1 अधिकारी (सेवा के निबंधनों और शर्तों का पुनरीक्षण) संशोधन नियम, 2013 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम श्रेणी 1 अधिकारी ( सेवा के निबंधनों और शर्तों का पुनरीक्षण) नियम, 1985 (जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है) में नियम 7ङ के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित नियम अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
" 7च. नियत वाहन भत्ता सहायक प्रशासनिक अधिकारी (विपणन) के रूप में तैनात सहायक प्रशासनिक अधिकारी को दस हजार रुपए प्रतिमास का नियत वाहन भत्ता संदत्त किया जाएगा ।"
3. उक्त नियमों के नियम 9 ख के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
" 9ख . परिवहन भत्ता निगम की किन्ही स्कीमों के अधीन कोई परिवहन भत्ता पाने वाले अधिकारी

तथा सहायक प्रशासनिक अधिकारी ( विपणन) से भिन्न, प्रत्येक वर्ग 1 अधिकारी को आठ सौ रुपये प्रति मास परिवहन भत्ता संदत्त किया जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 8th January, 2013
G.S.R. 16 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (cc) of sub- section (2) of section 48 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act , 1956 (31 of 1956) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Life Insurance Corporation of India Class I Officers ( Revision of Terms and Conditions of Service ) Rules , 1985 , namely: --
1. (1) These rules may be called the Life Insurance Corporation of India Class | Officers ( Revision of Terms and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2013 .
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Life Insurance Corporation of India Class | Officers ( Revision of Terms and Conditions of Service ) Rules , 1985 ( hereinafter referred to as the said rules ) , after rule 7E, the following rule shall be inserted , namely: --
"7F. Fixed conveyance allowance.- Fixed conveyance allowance of ten thousand rupees per month shall be paid to Assistant Administrative Officer posted as AssistantAdministrative Officer (Marketing)" .

3. For rule 9B of the said rules , the following rule shall be substituted , namely:-
"9B . Transport allowance.- Every Class I Officer , other than an Officer who is in receipt of any conveyance allowance under any Schemes of the Corporation and Assistant Administrative Officer ( Marketing ) , shall be paid transport allowance of eighthundred rupees per month" .
