The Central Govt, after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the lands, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building, maintenance, rnanagement and operation of National Highway No. 68, in the stretch of land from km. 0.313 to km. 73.900 in the District of Salem in the State of Tamil Nadu, hereby declares its intention to acquire such lands.
