The Central Govt. after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, brief description of which is given in the Schedule below is required for building, maintenance, management and operation of NH No. 66 (formerly NH No. 17) in the stretch of land from Km. 93.700 to Km. 283.300 (Goa-Karnataka Border to Kundapur reach) in Panaji-Mangalore Section in the District Uttara Kannada and Udupi in the of Karnataka, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
