S.O. 198(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5 read with sub section (1) of Section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Prof. Ved Prakash, Vice-Chairman, University Grants Commission as Chairman, University Grants Commission in the scale of pay of Rs. 80,000 (fixed) (plus usual allowances) with effect from 18th January, 2013, for a period of four years four months (ending on 7th May, 2017), or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
का.आ. 198;अद्ध.—विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अध्निियम, 1956 ;1956 का तीसराद्ध की धरा 5 की उप-धरा ;1द्ध के साथ पठित धरा 6 की उप-धरा ;1द्ध के अन्तर्गत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा प्रो. वेद प्रकाश, उपाध्यक्ष विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग को रफ. 80,000 ;निर्धरितद्ध के वेतनमान ;सामान्य भत्तों सहितद्ध में, 18 जनवरी से प्रभावी, चार वर्ष, चार महीने के कार्यकाल ;7 मई, 2017 तकद्ध या 65 वर्ष की आयु , जो भी पहले हो, तक विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त करती है ।
