सा.का.नि. 115 (अ).-केंद्रीय सरकार, पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2001 (2001 का 53) की धारा 96 की उपधारा 2 के खंड ( iii) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण नियम , 2003 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :--
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ ( 1 ) इन विनियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण ( संशोधन) नियम, 2013 है ।
(2) ये उनके राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. पौधा किस्म और कृषक अधिकार संरक्षण नियम , 2003 ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् मूल नियम कहा गया है) में - (i ) नियम 25 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित नियम अंतःस्थापित की जाएगी, अर्थात् : -
" 25क. कृषक किस्म के रजिस्ट्रीकरण के लिए आवेदन प्ररूप. कृषक किस्म के रजिस्ट्रीकरण के लिए आवेदन प्ररूप छठी अनुसूची में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट रूप में होगा । " ;

(ii ) मूल नियमों की पांचवीं अनुसूची के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित अनुसूची अंत में जोड़ी जाएगी, अर्थात् : -

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th February, 2013
GS.R. 115(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (xiii) of sub- section (2) of section 96 of the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights Act, 2001 (53 of 2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Protection of Plant Varieties & Farmers ' Rights Rules, 2003 namely: -
1. Short title and Commencement. ( 1 ) These rules may be called Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights (Amendment) Rules , 2013 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette.
2. In the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers ' Rights Rules , 2003 (here in after referred to as the principal rules ),
( i ) after rule 25 , the following rule shall be inserted, namely:
" 25A.Application form for registration of farmers ' variety.- The application form 707 GI/13-2.

for registration of farmers ' variety shall be as specified in the Sixth Schedule ." ;
(ii) after the Fifth Schedule of the principal rules , the following schedule shall be added at the end , namely: -
