का.आ. 436;अद्ध.—अंतर्राज्यिक नदी जल विवाद अध्निियम, 1956 ;1956 का 33द्ध की धरा 4 के अध्ीन भारत के राजपत्रा, असाधरण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड ;iiद्ध तारीख 24 पफरवरी, 2010 में अध्सिूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 465;अद्ध, तारीख 24 पफरवरी, 2010 द्वारा वंसधरा जल विवाद अध्किरण ;जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त अध्किरण कहा गया हैद्ध का गठन अंतर्राज्यिक वंसधरा नदी और उसकी नदी घाटी से संबंध्ति जल विवादों के न्यायनिर्णयन के लिए किया गया थाऋ
और, उक्त अध्निियम की धरा 5 की उप-धरा ;2द्ध के अध्ीन उक्त अध्किरण को अपनी रिपोर्ट और यथाअपेक्षित विनिश्चय को तारीख 23 पफरवरी, 2013 को या उससे पूर्व देना अपेक्षित हैऋ
और अपरिहार्य कारणों से उक्त अध्किरण अपनी रिपोर्ट तीन वर्ष की उक्त अवध् िमें प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सका हैऋ
और उक्त अध्किरण ने केन्द्रीय सरकार से रिपोर्ट और विनिश्चय प्रस्तुत करने के लिए अवध् िको बढ़ाने का अनुरोध् किया हैऋ
और उक्त अध्निियम की धरा 5 की उप-धरा ;2द्ध के परंतुक के अनुसरण में, केन्द्रीय सरकार एक वर्ष की और अवध्ि के लिए विस्तारित कर सकेगीऋ
अतः, अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त अध्निियम की धरा 5 की उप-धरा ;2द्ध के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वंसधरा जल विवाद अध्किरण द्वारा रिपोर्ट और विनिश्चय की प्रस्तुत करने की अवध् िको तारीख 24 पफरवरी, 2013 से एक वर्ष की और अवध् िके लिए विस्तारित करती है ।

New Delhi, the 22nd February, 2013
S.O. 436(E).—Whereas, the Vansadhara Water Disputes Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as the said Tribunal) was constituted on the 24th February, 2010 vide Notification number S.O. 465(E) dated the 24th February, 2010, published in Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii) of Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 24th February, 2010 under Section 4 of the Inter-State River Water Disputes Act, 1956 (33 of 1956) for the adjudication of the water disputes regarding the Inter-State river Vansadhara, and river valley thereof;
And whereas, the said Tribunal is required to submit its report and decision as required under sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the said Act within a period of three years i.e. on or before the 23rd February, 2013;
And whereas, due to unavoidable reasons, the said Tribunal could not submit its report within the said period of three years;
And whereas the said Tribunal has requested the Central Government to extend the period of submission of report and decision;
And whereas, in accordance with the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the said Act, the Central Govern- ment may extend the period for a further period not exceeding one year;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby extends the period of submission of report and decision by the Vansadhara Water Disputes Tribunal for a further period of one year with effect from the 24th February, 2013.
