S.O. 3423 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 29 of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of 2005) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient to do so, hereby makes the following further amendments to Schedule I of the said Act, namely:—

In the said Act, in Schedule I, in paragraph 1B after Clause (xvb), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—

"(xvc) Construction and maintenance of modern and scientific Food Grain Storage facility for implementing the provisions of the National Food Security Act, 2013."
