4. यह बोड(cid:24) सामािजक-आ;थक
आ;थक, सां(cid:4)कृ ितक और कलाGमक (cid:4)वOप को Pयान म(cid:26) रखते
रखते Sए हथकरघा Tे/ म(cid:26) सम< िवकास काय(cid:24)=म तैयार करने म(cid:26)
से िनUिलिखत उVेWय( को 2ा> करने के िलए सरकार को सलाह
म(cid:26) सरकार को सलाह देगा । यह बोड(cid:24) िवशेष Oप से देगा :—
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I—SEC. 1] (i) देश क4 जXरत( को अिधकािधक हथकरघा Tे/ से पूरा करना;(ii) बुनकर( म(cid:26) बेरोजगार और अAपरोजगार को कम करने और उनके रहन-सहन के (cid:4)तर म(cid:26) सुधार लाने
के िलए हथकरघा Tे/ को और अिधक 2भावी बनाना;
(iii)
(iv)
हथकरघा क4 िशAप पर(cid:8)परा को बनाए रखना और इसे अिधक बढ़ावा देना; देश और िवदेश( म(cid:26) हथकरघा वस्त्राों के िवपणन म(cid:26) वृिY करने के िलए काय(cid:24) योजना बनाना;
(v) इस Tे/ के िलए िविभZ रा[य सरकार(/के R\ शािसत Tे/( के िवकासाGमक 2य]( म(cid:26) 2भावी
समRवय (cid:4)थािपत करने के िलए कदम उठाना; और
(vi) हथकरघा Tे/ के िवकास म(cid:26) Sई 2गित क4 समय-समय पर समीTा करना ।
5. इसे माननीय व(cid:4)/ मं/ी के अनुमोदन से जारी 1कया जाता है ।

RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 13th November, 2013
No. 1/27/2011/DCH/Coordn.—In continuation of Government of India's Resolution of even number dated 22nd December, 2011, 27th July, 2012, 24th August, 2012, 22nd November, 2012, 5th September, 2013, 20th September, 2013, 27th September, 2013, 7th October, 2013, 15th October, 2013 and 23rd October, 2013, Shri J.V. Momin, 506, Raza Apartments, Opp. Gaykwad Haweli, Ahmedabad–380001, Gujarat, has been nominated as Non-Official member of the All India Handloom Board with immediate effect.
2. The term of the office of the above members will be concurrent with the presently constituted Board.
3. Attention is invited of all non-official members of all India Handloom Board towards Ministry of Textile's O. M. F. No. 14015/1/2011-Gen. dated 4.7.2011 regarding guidelines prohibiting use of National emblem by non-official members of Board/committees (copy enclosed).
4. The Board will advise the Government in formulation of the overall development programme in the handloom sector keeping in view socio-economic, cultural and artistic perspective. In particular, the Board will advise the Government regarding achievement of the following objective :—
(i) to meet the needs of the country progressively from the handloom sector; (ii) to make handlooms an effective instrument of reducing unemployment and under employment and achieving higher standard of living of weavers;
(iii) to preserve and further promote the craft heritage of our handlooms; (iv) to devise strategies for expanding markets of handlooms within the country and abroad; (v) to take steps for effective coordination of the developmental efforts of the various State Governments/ Union Territories in this sector; and
(vi) to review the progress of development of handloom sector from time to time.
5. This issues with the approval of the Hon'ble Minister of Textiles.
