का. आ. 3521 (अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह मत है कि इसके साथ उपाबद्ध स्थल मानचित्र और अनुसूची में विर्निदिष्ट पुरातात्विक स्थल एवम् अवशेष मेनहिर और शैल गुफाएँ, वांगछिया , जिला चंम्फाई , ( मिजोरम ) राष्ट्रीय महत्व का है ;
अब इसलिए प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल एवं अवशेष अधिनियम 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 4 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त पुरातात्विक स्थल एवम् अवशेष को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के अपने इरादे का इसके द्वारा नोटिस देती है;
उक्त पुरातात्विक स्थल एवम् अवशेष को राष्ट्रीय महत्व का घोषित करने के लिए कोई आपत्ति राजकीय राजपत्र में इस अधिसूचना को जारी किये जाने की तारीख से दो महीने की अवधि के भीतर उक्त पुरातात्विक स्थल एवम् अवशेष में रूचि लेने वाले किसी व्यक्ति द्वारा की जा सकती है जिस पर महानिदेशक , भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण , नई दिल्ली द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st November, 2013
S.O. 3521 (E ) .-Whereas , the Central Government is of the opinion that, the archaeologival site and remains namely, Menhirs & Caves at Vangchhia, Disrtict Champhai , State of Mizoram specified in the site plan and the schedule annexed hereto , is of National importance ;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of section 4 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958 ) , the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to declare the said achaeological site and remains to be of National importance ;
Any objection to the declaration of the said archaeological site and remains to be of National importance may be made within a period of two months from the date of issue of this notification, by any person interested in the said archaeological site and remains , which will be taken into consideration by the Director General , Archaeological Survey of India, New Delhi - 110011 .
