सा.का.नि.७८१(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, आवश्यक वस्तु अधिनियम, १९५५ (१९५५ का १०) की धारा ३ द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस (प्रदाय और वितरण विनियमन) आदेश, २००० का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है, अर्थात्् :-- १. (१) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस (प्रदाय और वितरण विनियमन) संशोधन आदेश, २०१३ है ।
(२) यह राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होगा ।
२. द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस (प्रदाय और वितरण विनियमन) आदेश, २००० की अनुसूची १ में,--
(क) शीर्षक के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित शीर्षक रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्् :-- "प्रतिषिद्ध क्रियाकलाप (सरकारी तेल कंपनियों के द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस वितरकों के लिए)";
(ख) क्रम सं. १३ और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्् :--
"१३. ऐसे उपभोक्ता को, जिसके पास पहले से ही पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस कनेक्शन है, सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के अधीन घरेलू द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस कनेक्शन प्रदान करना ।
प्रतिषिद्ध क्रियाकलाप (पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस प्रदाय करने वाली कंपनियों के लिए) १. सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के अधीन किसी सरकारी तेल कंपनी के घरेलू द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस के विद्यमान उपभोक्ता को, ऐसे घरेलू द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस कनेक्शन को पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस कनेक्शन प्राप्त होने की तारीख से साठ दिन के भीतर अभ्यर्पण करने या सुरक्षित अभिरक्षा में रखने के परिवचन प्राप्त किए बिना पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस कनेक्शन प्रदान करना । २. सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के अधीन किसी सरकारी तेल कंपनी के घरेलू द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस के विद्यमान उपभोक्ता को, ऐसे घरेलू द्रवीकृत पेट्रोलियम गैस कनेक्शन को पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस कनेक्शन प्राप्त होने की तारीख से साठ दिन के भीतर अभ्यर्पण करने या सुरक्षित अभिरक्षा में रखने के परिवचन प्राप्त किए बिना पाइप द्वारा प्राकृतिक गैस का प्रदाय जारी रखना ।"।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th December, 2013
G. S. R. 781 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000, namely:—
1. (1) This Order may be called the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Amendment Order, 2013.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order, 2000, in the Schedule-I,—
(a) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:—
"Prohibited Activities
(For Liquefied Petroleum Gas distributors of Government Oil Companies).";
(b) for serial number 13 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely,—
"13. Providing domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas connection under Public Distribution System to a consumer who is already owing a Piped Natural Gas connection.
Prohibited Activities
(for Piped Natural Gas providing companies)
1. Providing Piped Natural Gas connection to an existing consumer of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas of a Government oil Company under the Public Distribution System, without obtaining an undertaking to surrender or to keep in safe custody such domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas connection within sixty days from the date of obtaining Piped Natural Gas connection. 2. Continue to supply Piped Natural Gas to an existing consumer of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas of a Government Oil Company under the Public Distribution System, who has not surrendered or kept in safe custody the domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas connection after sixty days from the date of obtaining Piped Natural Gas connection.".
