का.आ. 3723(अ).—यतः मै. वी.वी. मिनरल जो एक निजी संगठन है ने तमिलनाडु राज्य में ग्राम तिरूवंबलापुरम, राधापुरम तालुक, जिला तिरूनेलवेली में खनिज एवं खनिज आधारित उत्पादों के लिए एक क्षेत्र विशिष्ट विशेष आर्थिक जोन की स्थापना हेतु विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28) (जिसे एतद्‌पश्चात्‌ उक्त अधिनियम कहा गया है) की धारा 3 के अंतर्गत प्रस्ताव किया है;

और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है कि उक्त अधिनियम की धारा की उप-धारा (8) के अंतर्गत अपेक्षाओं तथा अन्य संबंधित अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर लिया गया है और उसने उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के विकास, प्रचालन एवं रखरखाव हेतु उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (10) के अंतर्गत दिनांक 5 दिसम्बर, 2012 को अनुमोदन पत्र प्रदान कर दिया है;

अतः अब, विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और विशेष आर्थिक जोन नियम, 2006 के नियम 8 के अनुसरण में, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्‌द्वारा निम्नलिखित तालिका में उल्लिखित सर्वेक्षण संख्या और क्षेत्र को उपर्युक्त स्थान पर विशेष आर्थिक जोन के रूप में अधिसूचित करती है, अर्थात्‌ :—

और यतः, विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 13 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्‌द्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 14 के प्रयोजनार्थ उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन के लिए एक समिति, जिसे अनुमोदन समिति कहा जाएगा, गठित करती है, जिसके अध्यक्ष और सदस्य निम्नानुसार हैं, अर्थात्‌्‌ः-

और यतः, विशेष आर्थिक जोन अधिनियम, 2005 (2005 का 28) की धारा 53 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्‌द्वारा दिनांक 16 दिसम्बर, 2013 को उस तारीख के रूप में निर्धारित करती है जिस तारीख से उपर्युक्त विशेष आर्थिक जोन को सीमा-शुल्क अधिनियम, 1962 (1962 का 52) की धारा 7 के अंतर्गत अंतर्देशीय कंटेनर डिपो माना जाएगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi the 16th December, 2013

S. O. 3723(E).—Whereas, M/s. V. V. Mineral, a private organization, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Mineral and Mineral based products at Thiruvambalapuram Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District in the State of Tamil Nadu;

And, Whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the above sector specific Special Economic Zone on 5th December, 2012;

Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, hereby notifies the following area at above location with survey numbers given below in the table, as a Special Economic Zone, namely :— TABLE

And, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 13 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for the above Special Economic Zone for the purposes of Section 14 of the said Act, consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely:—

And, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), hereby appoints the 16th day of December, 2013 as the date from which the above Special Economic Zone shall be deemed to be Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962).
