1. (1) इन िनयम5 का नाम ूितभूित सं(cid:2)वदा ((cid:2)विनयमन) (संशोधन) िनयम, 2014 होगा।

(2) ये राजपऽ म; अपने ूकाशन क. ितिथ से ूवृ1त ह5गे।

2. ूितभूित सं(cid:2)वदा ((cid:2)विनयमन) िनयमावली, 1957 म;, िनयम 8 म;, -

(क) उप-िनयम (1) म;, खंड (च) म;, दूसरे परंतुक म;, शNद, कोंठक और अQर ''(क) से (ट) मद'' के िलए, शNद, कोंठक और अQर ''(क) से (ढ) मद'' ूितःथा(cid:2)पत (cid:27)कए जाएंगे;

(ख) उप-िनयम (3) म;, खंड (च) म;, उप-खंड (iii) म;, शNद, कोंठक और अQर ''(क) से (ट) मद'' के िलए, शNद, कोंठक और अQर ''(क) से (ढ) मद'', ूितःथा(cid:2)पत (cid:27)कए जाएंगे;

(ग) उप-िनयम (4) म;, खंड (iii) म;, परंतुक म;, -

(i) मद (ग) के िलए, िन@निल3खत मद ूितःथा(cid:2)पत क. जाएगी, अथा(cid:15)त ् :-

''(ग) बीमा अिधिनयम, 1938 (1938 का 4) के अधीन बीमा (cid:2)विनयामक (cid:2)वकास ूािधकरण 0ारा पंजीकरण ूद1 त कोई बीमा कंपनी'';

(ii) मद (घ) (cid:2)वलो(cid:2)पत (cid:27)कया जाएगा;

(iii) मद (ट) के पँचात ् , िन@निल3खत मद; अंत:ःथा(cid:2)पत क. जाएंगी, अथा(cid:15)त ् -

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 16th January, 2014

G.S.R. 21(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, in rule 8,—

(a) in sub-rule (1) in clause (f), in the second proviso, for the words, brackets and letters, "item (a) to (k)", words, brackets and letters, "items (a) to (n)" shall be substituted;

(b) in sub-rule (3), in clause (f), in sub-clause (iii), for the words brackets and letters, "items (a) to (k)", words, brackets and letters, "items (a) to (n)" shall be substituted;

(i) for item (c), the following item shall be substituted, namely:—

"(c) any insurance company granted registration by the Insurance Regulatory Development

Authority under the Insurance Act, 1938 (4 of 1938)";

(ii) item (d) shall be omitted;

(iii) after item (k), the following items shall be inserted, namely-

"(l) Central Board of Trustees, Employees' Provident Fund, established under the Employees'

Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952);

(m) any pension fund registered or appointed or regulated by the Pension Fund Regulatory and

Development Authority under the Pension Fund Regulatory And Development Authority Act,

2013 (23 of 2013); and

(n) any Standalone Primary Dealers authorised by the Reserve Bank of India constituted under

the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934)."
