आआआआ....अअअअ.... 06(अ)06(अ)06(अ)06(अ).—यतः, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 12 के अधीन जारी और भारत के राजपत्र में 21 जनवरी, 2014 को प्रकाषित अधिसूचना द्वारा नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ (1) में विनिर्दिश्ट राज्योेेेेेेें की विधान सभा के प्रत्येक सदस्य से यह अपेक्षा की है कि उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ (2) में राज्यों के सामने विनिर्दिश्ट संख्या में सदस्य निर्वाचित कर दें;

(1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(iii)] अतः, अब, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 39 की उपधारा (1) और धारा 56 के अनुसरण में, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्द्वारा :-
(अ) उपर्युक्त राज्यों में प्रत्येक निर्वाचन के संबंध में :-
(क) नाम निर्देषन करने की अन्तिम तारीख -
28 जनवरी, 2014 (मंगलवार)
(ख) नाम निर्देषन की संवीक्षा की तारीख -
29 जनवरी, 2014 (बुधवार)
(ग) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की अंतिम तारीख-
31 जनवरी, 2014 (षुक्रवार)
(घ) वह तारीख, जिसको यदि आवष्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा, और 07 फरवरी, 2014 (षुक्रवार)
(घ) वह तारीख जिससे पूर्व निर्वाचन सम्पन्न कर लिया जाएगा 10 फरवरी, 2014 (सोमवार))))
नियत करता है; और
(आ) 9.00 बजे पूर्वाहन् से 4.00 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय, ऐसे समय के रूप में नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवष्यक हुआ तो, उक्त विनिर्दिश्ट तारीख को, ऊपर उल्लिखित सभी राज्यों में मतदान होगा ।

O.N. 06(E).—Whereas, the President of India has, by notification issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) and published in the Gazette of India on 21st January, 2014 been pleased to call upon the elected members of each of the Legislative Assemblies of the States, specified in columns (1) of the TABLE below, to elect to the Council of States, the number of members specified against that State in column (2) of the said TABLE;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 39 and section 56 of the said Act, the Election Commission of India hereby :—
(A) appoints, with respect to the said election in each of the above mentioned States,—
(a) the 28th January, 2014 (Tuesday), as the last date for making nominations; (b) the 29th January, 2014 (Wednesday), as the date for the scrutiny of the nominations; (c) the 31st January, 2014 (Friday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures; (d) the 7th February, 2014 (Friday), as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and (e) the 10th February, 2014 (Monday), as the date before which the election shall be completed; and [भाग II—खण्ड 3;iiiद्ध] भारत का राजपत्रा : असाधरण

(B) fixes the hours from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken in all the above mentioned States, on the date specified above, for the election.

आआआआ....अअअअ.... 00007(अ7(अ7(अ7(अ)))).—लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 (1951 का 43) की धारा 21 के अनुसरण में और धारा 22 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत निर्वाचन आयोग नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ (1) में विनिर्दिश्ट प्रत्येक राज्य की सरकार के परामर्ष से राज्य सभा के द्विवार्शिक निर्वाचनों के संबंध में भारत के राजपत्र में 21 जनवरी, 2014 को प्रकाषित राश्ट्रपति की अधिसूचना के अनुसरण में, एतदद्वारा :-
(अ) उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ (ं2) में संगत प्रविश्टि में विनिर्दिश्ट अधिकारी को रिटर्निंंग आफिसर पदनामित करता है; और
(आ) उक्त सारण्ाीं के स्तम्भ (3) में संगत प्रविश्टि में विनिर्दिश्ट अधिकारियों को, रिटर्निंग आफिसर के कार्य के निश्पादन में सहायता के लिए सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसर नियुक्त करता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st January, 2014
O.N. 07(E).— In pursuance of section 21, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22, of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of each State, specified in column (1) of the TABLE below, hereby : –4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(iii)] (i) designates the officer, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said TABLE, to be the Returning Officer; and
(ii) appoints the officer(s), specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, to be the Assistant Returning Officer(s) to assist the Returning Officer in the performance of his functions;
in respect of the biennial elections to the Council of States, to be held in that State, in pursuance of the notification of the President of India, published in the Gazette of India on 21st January, 2014 :—
