काकाकाका....आआआआ.... 3264326432643264((((अअअअ))))....———— कें (cid:8)ीय सरकार, पर्यावरण (संरक्षण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते (cid:30)ए और भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय की अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 1533(अ) तारीख 14 िसतंबर, 2006 के अनुसरण में भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्रालय की भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) में प्रकाशित अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1196(अ) तारीख 2 मई, 2014 में निम्निलिखत और संशोधन करती है, अर्थात् :—
2. उक्त अधिसूचना में,-—
(i) पैरा 1 में 3म सं. 1 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित 3म सं. और प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी, अर्थात् :—
| "1 9ी सी.एल. मीना, आईएएस (सेवानिवृत् त) – अध् यक्ष, गुजरात िसिवल सेवा अिधकरण, | "अध् यक्ष" |
"परंतु यह कि अध्यक्ष या सदस्य के पद की रिक्ति उत्पन्न होने पर, कें (cid:8)ीय सरकार उत्तरवर्ती की नियुक्ति करेगी, जो ऐसे अध्यक्ष या सदस्य, जिसके स्थान पर उसकी नियुक्ति की गई है, की शेष पदावधि के लिए पद धारण करेगा" ;
(iii) पैरा 6 में निम्निलिखत उपबंध अंत:स्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात् :—
"परंतु यह कि अध्यक्ष या सदस्य के पद की रिक्ति उत्पन्न होने पर, कें (cid:8)ीय सरकार, संबंधित राज्य सरकार की सिफारिश पर, उत्तरवर्ती की नियुक्ति करेगी, जो ऐसे अध्यक्ष या सदस्य, जिसके स्थान पर उसकी नियुक्ति की गई है, की शेष पदाविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा" ;

S.O. 3264(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of paragraph 3 of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 1196(E), dated the 2nd May, 2014, namely:—
2. In the said notification—
(i) in paragraph 1, for the serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely :—
| " 1 Shri C L Meena, IAS (Retired)- Chairman, Gujarat Civil Services Tribunal, | "Chairman" |
(ii) in paragraph 2, the following provision shall be inserted, namely:—
"Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the Office of the Chairman or the Member, the Central Government shall appoint a successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the term of such Chairman or Member in whose place he was so appointed";
(iii) in paragraph 6, the following provision shall be inserted, namely:—
"Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the office of the Chairman or any Member, the Central Government shall, on the recommendation of the State Government concerned, appoint a successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the term of such Chairman or Member in whose place he was so appointed"
