विषयः-दिनांक 27 नवम्बर, 2014 की सार्वजनिक सूचना सं0 76 तथा प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खण्ड-1 (2009-14) के पैरा 9.1 के द्वारा यथा अधिसूचित "आयातक निर्यात कड सं. (आईईसी) के निर्गम/संशधन हेतु विस्तृत दिशा-निर्दश" में संशधन ।
फा. सं. 01/93/180/20/एएम 13/पीसी-2 (ख).—विदेश व्यापार नीति (2009-14), के पैराग्राफ 2.4 के तहत प्रदा शक्तियं का प्रयोग करते हुए महानिदेशक, विदेश व्यापार, एतद्द्वारा दिनांक 27 नवम्बर, 2014 की सार्वजनिक सूचना सं0 76 तथा प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खण्ड-1 (2009-14) के पैरा 9.1 के द्वारा यथा अधिसूचित "आयातक निर्यात कड सं. (आईईसी) के निर्गम/संशधन हेतु विस्तृत दिशा-निर्दश" में संशधन करते हैं।
2. "आयातक निर्यातक कड संख्या (आईईसी) के निर्गम/संशधन हेतु विस्तृत दिशा-निर्दश" के संशधित भाग 5 क बड़े अक्षरं में रेखांकित किया गया है अर इसे निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जाएगाः

3. प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खण्ड-1 के पैरा 9.1 क संशधित कर निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जाएगाः-
आईईसी में संशधन जैसे नाम/पता में परिवर्तन, साझेदारं/निदेशकं में परिवर्तन; संस्था के स्वरूप में परिवर्तन जैसे निजी लिमिटेड से सार्वजनिक लिमिटेड; क्रियाकलाप के प्रकार में परिवर्तन जैसे पण्य से विनिर्माता निर्यातक; या शाखा कार्यालय/फैक्टरी आदि क शामिल करने के लिए अनुरध करने वाले आवेदकं क आईईसी में संशधन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रस्तुत करना हगा अर आवेदन शुल्क के रूप में 500 रु. का भुगतान करना हगा।
भारत का राजपत्रा : असाधरण [भाग I—खण्ड 1] 34. इस सार्वजनिक सूचना का प्रभावः उपर्युक्त पैरा 2 में यथा रेखांकित कुछ अतिरिक्त दस्तावेजं क शामिल करने हेतु दिनांक 27 नवम्बर, 2014 की सार्वजनिक सूचना सं. 76 (आरई-2013)/2009-2014 के द्वारा यथा अधिसूचित एएनएफ 2क के ''आयातक निर्यातक कड संख्या (आईईसी) के निर्गम/संशधन हेतु विस्तृत दिशानिर्दश'' के भाग 5 क संशधित किया जाता है। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रक्रिया पुस्तक, खण्ड-1 के पैरा 9.1 क इस आशय के साथ संशधित किया गया है कि आवेदकं क आईईसी में संशधन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रस्तुत करना हगा तथा आवेदन शुल्क के रूप में 500 रु. का भुगतान करना हगा।

Subject: Amendments in "Detailed Guidelines for Issue/Modification of Importer Exporter
Code Number (IEC)" as notified vide Public Notice No. 76 dated the 27th of November,
2014 and Para 9.1 of Handbook of Procedure vol.1 (2009-14)
F. No. 01/93/180/20/AM-13/ PC-2(B).—In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy (2009-14), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby amends Part V of the "Detailed Guidelines for Issue/Modification of Importer Exporter Code Number (IEC)" as notified vide Public Notice No. 76 (RE-2013)/2009-2014 dated the 27th of November, 2014 and Para 9.1 of Handbook of Procedure vol.1 (2009-14).
2. The amended Part V of the "Detailed Guidelines for Issue / Modification of Importer Exporter Code Number (IEC)" is highlighted in bold and would read as under:

3. Para 9.1 of Handbook of Procedure vol.1 is being modified to be read as under:
Applicants seeking modification in IEC for any change in name/address, change in Partners/Directors, change in nature of concern e.g. Private Limited to Public Limited; change in type of activity e.g. from merchant to manufacturer exporter; or addition of Branch Offices/factory, etc. will be required to submit online application for modification in IEC and pay Rs 500 as application fee.
4. Effect of this Notification: Part V of the "Detailed Guidelines for Issue/Modification of Importer Exporter Code Number (IEC)" of ANF 2A as notified vide Public Notice No. 76 (RE-2013)/2009-2014 dated the 27th of November, 2014, is modified to provide for inclusion of certain additional documents, as highlighted in Para 2 above. Further, Para 9.1 of Handbook of Procedure vol.1 stands modified to the effect that applicants will have to submit online application for modification in IEC and pay Rs 500 as application fee.
