का. आ. 287(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार ने, लोक दायित्व बीमा अध्यििनम, 1991 ;1991 का 6द्ध की धरा 7क द््वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए फ्पर्यावरण राहत निध् िस्कीम, 2008य् नामक स्कीम बनाई थी;
और, पर्यावरण राहत निध् िस्कीम के पैरा 4 के उप पैरा ;1द्ध में यह उपबंध् किया था कि यूनाइटेड इंडिया इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड उक्त स्कीम की अध्सिूचना की तारीख से पांच वर्ष की अवध् िके लिए स्कीम की निध् िप्रबंध्क होगी;
और, उक्त निध् िप्रबंध्क की पांच वर्ष की अवध् ि3 नवंबर, 2013 को समाप्त हो गई हैऋ
और भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्यावरण और वन मंत्राालय की अध्सिूचना संख्यांक सा.का.नि. 497;अद्ध, तारीख 10 जुलाई, 2014 द््वारा केन्द्रीय सरकार ने यूनाइटेड इंडिया इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड कंपनी को 31 दिसम्बर, 2014 तक के लिए निध् िप्रबंध्क के रूप में पुनः नियुक्त किया था ऋ
और, केन्द्रीय सरकार यह विचार करती है कि उक्त निध् िप्रबंध्क को 30 जून, 2015 तक की अवध् िका विस्तार करना आवश्यक है ऋ
अतः, अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार पर्यावरण राहत स्कीम, 2008 के पैरा 4 के उप पैरा ;2द्ध के अनुसरण में और उक्त अध्सिूचना सां.का. नि. 497;अद्ध, तारीख 10 जुलाई, 2014 को उन बातों के सिवाय जिन्हें ऐसे अध्क्रिमण से पूर्व किया गया है या करने का लोप किया गया है अध्क्रिांत करते हुए 30 जून, 2015 की अवध् िके लिए पर्यावरण राहत निध् िस्कीम, 2008 के अध्ीन निध् िप्रबंध्क के रूप में यूनाइटेड इंडिया इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड को पुनः नियुक्त करती है ।

O. 287(E).— Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7A of the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991 (6 of 1991), the Central Government framed a scheme, namely, "the Environment Relief Fund Scheme, 2008";
And, whereas, sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 4 of the Environment Relief Fund Scheme, 2008 provided that the United India Insurance Company Limited shall be the Fund Manager of the said scheme for a period of five years from the date of notification of the said scheme;
And, whereas, the five year term of the said Fund Manager expired on 3rd November, 2013;
And, whereas, by a notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests number G.S.R. 497 (E), dated the 10th July, 2014, the Central Government reappointed the United India Insurance Company Limited as a Fund Manager for a period upto 31st December, 2014;
And, whereas, the Central Government has considered it necessary to extend the term of the said Fund Manager for a period upto 30th June, 2015.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub-paragraph (2) of paragraph 4 of the Environment Relief Fund Scheme, 2008, and in supersession of the said notification number G.S.R. 497(E), dated the 10th July, 2014, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby reappoints the United India Insurance Company Limited as a Fund Manager under the Environment Relief Fund Scheme, 2008, for a period up to 30th June, 2015.
