It is further clarified that under Section 126(1)(b) of the R.P. Act, 1951, displaying any election matter including results of any opinion poll or any other poll survey, in any electronic media, would be prohibited during the period of 48 hours ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of poll in connection with aforesaid bye elections.

vk-v- 9¼v½-& यतः पष्चिम बंगाल्‌ के 14-बनगांव(अ.जा) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लोक सभा उप-चुनाव तथा अरूणाचल प्रदेष के 27-लिरोमोबा(अ.ज.जा) विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, गोवा के 11-पणजी विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, तमिलनाडू के 139-श्रीरंगम विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, पष्चिम बंगाल के 88-कश्ृणागंज(अ.जा.) विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, महाराश्ट्र्‌ के 91-मुखेड विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र तथा आन्ध्र प्रदेष के 167-तिरूपति विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के उप-निर्वाचन लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम,1951 की धारा 30 के अन्तर्गत दिनांक 19.01.2015 को अधिसूचित किये जा चुके है :

2. और यतः, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 126 क के प्रावधानों के अनुसार इस सबंध मे निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा यथा अधिसूचित, इस अवधि के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार के एग्जिट पोल के संचालन और उसके परिणामों तथा ऐसे एक्जिट पोल के परिणाम के प्रसार पर प्रतिबंध होगा । 3. अब, इसलिए, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 126क की उप-धारा (1) के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग, उक्त धारा की उप-धारा (1) के उपबंधों के संबंध में एतत्‌द्वारा दिनांक 13.02.2015 (षुक्रवार) को पूर्वाह्‌न 07.00 बजे सेे अपराह्‌न 06.30 बजे के बीच की अवधि को, ऐसी अवधि के रूप में अधिसूचित करता है जिसके दौरान 19.01.2015 को अधिसूचित, पष्चिम बंगाल्‌ के 14-बनगांव(अ.जा) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लोक सभा के उप चुनाव तथा अरूणाचल प्रदेष के 27-लिरोमोबा(अ.ज.जा) विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, गोवा के 11-पणजी विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, तमिलनाडू के 139-श्रीरंगम विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, पष्चिम बंगाल के 88-कृश्णागंज(अ.जा.) विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र, महाराश्ट्र्‌ के 91-मुखेड विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र तथा आन्ध्र प्रदेष के 167-तिरूपति विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के उप-निर्वाचनों केे संबंध में किसी भी प्रकार के एग्जिट पोल का संचालन तथा प्रिंट या इलैक्ट्र्‌ोनिक मीडिया द्वारा इसका प्रकाषन या प्रचार अथवा किसी भी अन्य तरीके से उसके प्रसार पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा ।

4. इसके अतिरिक्त यह भी स्पश्ट किया जाता है कि लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 126 (1)(ख) के अधीन उपर्युक्त उप निर्वाचनों के संबंध में संबंधित मतदान क्षेत्रों में मतदान की समाप्ति के लिए नियत समय के साथ समाप्त होने वाले 48 घंटों की अवधि के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार के निर्वाचन संबंधी मामलें का, किसी भी ओपीनियन पोल या अन्य किसी पोल सर्वे के परिणामों सहित, प्रदर्षन किसी भी इलेक्ट्र्‌ॉनिक मीडिया से करने पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा ।

New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2015

O.N. 9(E).—Whereas, the schedule for the Bye-elections to the Parliamentary Constituency of 14-Bangaon(SC) Parliamentary Constituency of West Bengal and 27-Liromoba(ST) Assembly Constituency of Arunachal Pradesh, 11- Panaji Assembly Constituency of Goa, 139-Srirangam Assembly Constituency of Tamil Nadu, 88-Krishnaganj(SC) Assembly Constituency of West Bengal, 91-Mukhed Assembly Constituency of Maharashtra and 167-Triupati Assembly Constituency of Andhra Pradesh have been notified by the Commission on 19th January, 2015 under Section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.

And whereas, as per the provisions of Section 126A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, there shall be restrictions on conduct of any exit poll and publication and dissemination of result of such exit poll during such period, as may be notified by the Election Commission in this regard;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 126A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Election Commission, having regard to the provisions of sub-Section (2) of the said Section, hereby notifies the period between 7.00 A .M. and 6.30 P.M.on 13-02-2015(Friday), as the period during which conducting any exit poll and publishing or publicizing by means of the print or electronic media or dissemination in any other manner, whatsoever, the result of any exit poll in connection with the current Bye Elections to the Parliamentary Constituency of 14-Bangaon(SC) Parliamentary Constituency of West Bengal and 27-Liromoba(ST) Assembly Constituency of Arunachal Pradesh, 11-Panaji Assembly Constituency of Goa, 139-Srirangam Assembly Constituency of Tamil Nadu, 88-Krishnaganj(SC) Assembly Constituency of West Bengal, 91-Mukhed Assembly Constituency of Maharashtra and 167-Triupati Assembly Constituency of Andhra Pradesh notified on 19 th January,2015, shall be prohibited.
