सासासासा....काकाकाका....िनिनिनिन. . . . 956(956(956(956(अअअअ).).).).————कें (cid:12)ीय सरकार, पंजाब पुनर्गठन अधिनियम, 1966 (1966 का 31) की धारा 97 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते &ए भाखड़ा ब्यास प्रबंधन बोर्ड नियमावली, 1974 को संशोिधत करने के िलए और िनम्नलिखित िनयम बनाती है, अर्थात :—
1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भाखड़ा ब्यास प्रबंधन बोर्ड (दूसरा संशोधन) िनयम, 2015 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. भाखड़ा ब्यास प्रबंधन बोर्ड नियम, 1974 में नियम 3 में उप-िनयम (1) के स्थान पर निम्निलिखत उप-िनयम रखा जाएगा अर्थात :
(1) ''अपने मूल विभाग में अभिप्राप्त होने वाली सेवा की निबंधन और शत; तथा अपने मूल विभाग में अधिव<षता की आयु प्राप्त करने पर सेवानिवृत्ति के होते &ए भी अध्यक्ष या पूर्णकालिक सदस्य अपना कार्यभार Aहण करने की तारीख से तीन वर्ष के अविध के िलए पद पर बना रहेगा:
परंतु अध्यक्ष या पूर्णकालिक सदस्य तीन वर्ष की और अवधि के लिए पुनः नियुक्ति हेतु पात्र होंगे :
परंतु यह और कि अध्यक्ष या पूर्णकालिक सदस्य साठ वर्ष की आयु के परे पद पर धारण नहC बने रहेंगे :
परंतु यह भी कि अध्यक्ष या पूर्णकालिक सदस्य, भाखड़ा ब्यास प्रबंधन बोर्ड के पद पर बढ़ाई गई अवधि और पहली और दूसरी नियुक्ति के बीच मध्यवर्ती अवधि यदि कोई हो, सहित कु ल कार्यकाल छह वर्ष से अधिक नहC होगा।''

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11 December, 2015
G.S.R. 956(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 97 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966 (31of 1966), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Bhakra Beas Management Board Rules, 1974, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Bhakra Beas Management Board (second Amendment) Rules, 2015.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Bhakra Beas Management Board Rules, 1974, in rule 3, for sub-rule (1), the following sub- rule shall be substituted, namely:—
(1) " Notwithstanding the terms and conditions of service obtaining in his/her parent department and superannuation from his/her parent department, the Chairman or a whole-time Member shall continue to hold office for a term of three years from the date on which he/she assumes charge of his/her office:
Provided that Chairman or a whole-time Member shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term of three years:

Provided also that total tenure including the extended period and intervening period between first and second appointment, if any, on the post of Chairman or whole –time Member, Bhakra Beas Management Board shall not exceed six years."
