का.आ. 3524(अ) .—कारखाना अध्निियम, 1948;1948 का 63द्ध की धरा 41च की उपधरा ;2द्ध द््वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार एतदद््वारा उक्त अध्निियम की द््वितीय अनुसूची में आगे निम्नलिखित संशोध्न करती है, अर्थात :-
द््वितीय अनुसूची में,अंत में निम्नलिखित अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा अर्थात :-
''कुछ रेडियोन्यूक्लाइड जिनका धतु पुनःचक्रण उद््योगों में सामान्यतः सामना होता है, के संबंध् में नीचे दिए गए अनुसार अनुमत्य सांद्रता सक्रियता स्तर :

1. बीक्यू/जी का अभिप्राय बेक्करल प्रतिग्राम है बेक्करल का अभिप्राय रेडियोन्यूक्लाइड प्रति सेकेन्ड का एक रूपांतरण है और यह रेडियोध्र्मिता की एसआई यूनिट है ।
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] 2. मापन में धतु स्क्रेप, अर्ध्परिष्कृृत और परिष्कृृत उत्पादों पर वाह््य विकिरण स्तर और मापन के स्थान पर पृृष्ठभूमि स्तर शामिल होंगे और उनका अभिलेख रखा जाएगा । यदि सामान पर विकिरण स्तर पृृष्ठभूमि विकिरण स्तर से 20यू/घंटा ;माइक्रो रेड प्रतिघंटाद्ध से अध्कि हो, तो परमाणु उफर्जा विनियामक बोर्ड ;एईआरबीद्ध को तुरंत अवगत कराया जाएगा ।"[पफा. सं. जैड-16025/06/2015-आईएसएच-II]

टिप्पणीः कारखाना अध्निियम, 1948 में द््वितीय अनुसूची 1987 के अध्निियम 20, एस.45;1.6.1988 से प्रभावीद्ध द््वारा अंतः स्थापित की गई थी और इसे अंतिम बार का.आ. 3422;अद्ध, दिनांक 4 नवम्बर, 2013 द््वारा संशोध्ति किया गया था ।

New Delhi, the 22nd December, 2015
S.O. 3524(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 41F of the of Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the Second Schedule of the said Act, namely:-
In the Second Schedule, the following shall be inserted at the end namely:-
''Permissible activity concentration levels for some of the radionuclides that are commonly encountered in metal recycling industries as given below:

Foot Note:
1. Bq/g stands for Becquerel per gram. Becquerel means one transformation of a radionuclide per second; and is the SI unit of radioactivity. 2. Measurement shall comprise external radiation levels on the metal scrap, semi finished and finished products as well as the background levels at the place of measurement and records of the same shall be maintained. If the radiation level on the material exceeds the background radiation level by 20u/hr (Micro Rad per hour), the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) shall be promptly intimated."
