सासासासा....काकाकाका....निनिनिनि....36363636 (अअअअ).—केन्द्र सरकार, महा पत्तन न्यास अधिनियम 1963 (1963 का 38वॉं) की धारा 132 की उपधारा (1) के साथ पठित धारा 124 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्‌द्वारा, चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी (भर्ती, वरीयता तथा पदोन्नति) विनियम 2008 को आगे संशोधन हेतु, पोर्ट आफ चेन्नै के लिए न्यासी मंडल द्वारा बनाए गए चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी (भर्ती, वरीयता तथा पदोन्नति) संशोधन विनियम 2016 को अनुमोदन करता है तथा इस अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्न अनुसूची में दर्शाया गया है ।

2. उक्त संशोधन विनियम इस अधिसूचना के कार्यालयीन राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को लागू होंगे ।

महा पत्तन न्यास अधिनियम 1963 (1963 का 38वॉं) की धारा 28 के तहत प्रदत्त अधिकारों का प्रयोग करते हुए चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट ने चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी (भर्ती, वरीयता और पदोन्नति) विनियम, 2008 में संशोधन हेतु निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाता है:

1111.... लघु शीर्ष और प्रारंभण लघु शीर्ष और प्रारंभण लघु शीर्ष और प्रारंभण लघु शीर्ष और प्रारंभण :

(i) ये विनियम "चेन्नै पोर्ट ट्रस्ट कर्मचारी (भर्ती, वरीयता और पदोन्नति) संशाोधन विनियम, 2016" कहलाएँगें ।

(ii) ये विनियम महा पत्तन न्यास अधिनियम 1963 की धारा 124 और 132 के प्रावधानों के तहत यथा अपेक्षित केन्द्र सरकार के अनुमोदन को, भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित दिनांक से लागू होंगें ।

"पी एच आर डी प्रभार के प्रभारी पोत परिवहन मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव" ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th January, 2016

G.S.R. No.36(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with sub-section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2016 made by the Board of Trustees for the Port of Chennai further to amend the Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008 and are set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification.

2. The said Amendment Regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.

SCHEDULE

Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion)

Amendment Regulations, 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Chennai Port Trust hereby makes the following Regulations to amend the Chennai Port Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008, namely:-

1. Short Title and commencement

(i) These Regulations may be called "the Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2016".

(ii) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as required under the provisions of Section 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Chennai Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2008, in Sub Regulation (2) (a) of Regulation 12-'SERVICES SELECTION COMMITTEE', the words "Joint Secretary (Ports) of the Ministry of Shipping- Chairman" shall be substituted by the following:-

"Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping looking after the charge of PHRD- Chairman"
