New Delhi, the 21st January, 2016
S.O. 241(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5A of the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Safety of Civil Aviation Act, 1982 (66 of 1982) read with section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby confer on the following officers of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, an attached office of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the powers of arrest, investigation and prosecution exercisable by a police officer under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette:-
