का.आ. 245(अ).—जब(cid:17)क, (cid:19)वदेशी मु(cid:25)ा संर(cid:29)ण और त!कर(cid:8) "नवारण अ$ध"नयम, 1974 (1974 का 52) क- धारा 3 क- उप धारा (1) के तहत (cid:19)वशेष 3प से अ$धकार 4ा5त संयु6त स$चव, भारत सरकार 9वारा क$थत उप धारा के तहत (cid:4)दनांक 10.08.2015 को फाइल सं@या 673/22/2015-क!टDस VIII के तहत जार(cid:8) आदेश मF यह "नदेश (cid:4)दया गया था (cid:17)क Hी सुदेश कु मार सोIथाJलया, सुपुK Hी सLयदेव सोIथाJलया, "नवासी सीएल-239, से6टर-2, सा(cid:6)ट लेक Jसट(cid:8), कोलकाता को 4ेसीडेIसी सुधार गृह, अJलपुर, कोलकाता मF रोका जाए तथा अJभर(cid:29)ा मF रखा जाए ता(cid:17)क भ(cid:19)वQय मF त!कर(cid:8) के माल क- त!कर(cid:8) करने और इसका Rयापार करने से उIहF रोका जा सके ।
2. जब(cid:17)क के I(cid:25) सरकार के पास (cid:19)वTवास करने के कारण हU (cid:17)क पूवW6त Rयि6त भगोड़ा है या अपने को "छपाए हुए है ता(cid:17)क आदेश तामील न (cid:17)कया जा सके ।
3. अत: अब, क$थत अ$ध"नयम क- धारा 7 क- उप-धारा (1) के खंड (ख) 9वारा 4दLत शि6तय] का 4योग करते हुए के I(cid:25) सरकार एतद9वारा पूवW6त Rयि6त को "नदेश देती है (cid:17)क सरकार(cid:8) राजपK मF इस आदेश के 4काशन क- "त$थ से सात (cid:4)दन के अंदर वह पुJलस महा"नदेशक, पिTचम बंगाल सरकार, कोलकाता के सामने उपि!थत हो ।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 20th January, 2016
S.O. 245(E).—Whereas the Joint Secretary to the Government of India, specially empowered under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974) issued order F. No. 673/22/2015-Cus.VIII, dated 10.08.2015 under the said sub-section directing that Shri Sudesh Kumar Sonthalia S/o Late Satyadeo Sonthalia, R/o CL-239, Sector- 2, Salt Lake City, Kolkata, be detained and kept in Presidency Correctional Home, Alipore, Kolkata with a view to preventing him from indulging in smuggling and dealing in smuggled goods in future.
2. Whereas the Central Government has reasons to believe that the aforesaid person has absconded or has been concealing himself so that the order cannot be executed.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (b) of sub-section (I) of Section 7 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the aforesaid person to appear before the Director General of Police, Govt of West Bengal, Kolkata within 7 days of the publication of this order in the Official Gazette.
