काकाकाका....आआआआ. . . . 255255255255((((अअअअ))))....————भारत सरकार ने, पटसन पैके जिग साम(cid:16)ी (पै(cid:17)कग की वस्तुओं में अनिवार्य प्रयोग) अिधिनयम, 1987 (जेपीएम अिधिनयम, 1987) की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) तथा पटसन पैके जिग साम(cid:16)ी अिधिनयम, 1987 के तहत सं. सा.का.िन. (बी) द्वारा जारी नियमों के िनयम 3(क) के प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते &ए, निम्नलिखित संरचना के अनुसार स्थायी सलाहकार सिमित के गठन का निर्णय िलया है:—

| ii. | सिचव, खाद्य व सार्वजनिक िवतरण िवभाग, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो संयुक्त सिचव स्तर से नीचे के न हों | —सदस्य |
| iii. | सिचव, उपभोक्ता मामलों का िवभाग, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो संयुक्त सिचव स्तर से नीचे के न हों | —सदस्य |
| iv. | सिचव, "य िवभाग, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो संयुक्त सिचव स्तर से नीचे के न हों | —सदस्य |
| v. | सिचव, रसायन व पेट्रो-रसायन िवभाग, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो संयुक्त सिचव स्तर स े नीचे के न हों | —सदस्य |
| vi. | सिचव, कृ िष व सहकारिता िवभाग, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो संयुक्त सिचव स्तर से नीचे के न हों | —सदस्य |
| vii. | सिचव, पर्यावरण, वन और जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार अथवा उसके प्रतिनिधि जो स ंयुक्त सचिव स्तर से नीचे के न हों | —सदस् य |

3. उपयु र्क्त गठित स्थायी सलाहकार सिमित की वैधता इस संकल्प के भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से तीन वर्ष की अविध के िलए होगी।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th January, 2016
S.O. 255(E).—The Government of India, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Jute Packaging Materials (Compulsory Use in Packing Commodities) Act, 1987 (JPM Act, 1987) and also under Rule 3(a) of the Rules issued vide No. G.S.R. (B) under the JPM Act, 1987 have decided to constitute the Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) as per the following composition:-
(i) Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India —Chairman (ii) Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Government of India —Member or his Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(iii) Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India or his —Member Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(iv) Secretary, Department of Expenditure Government of India or his —Member Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(v) Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petro-Chemicals, Government of —Member India or his Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(vi) Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of India or —Member his Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(vii) Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change or his —Member Representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary
(viii) DG(S&D), Government of India —Member (ix) ASF&A, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India —Member (x) Jute Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles —Member (xi) Joint Secretary (Jute), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India —Member-
Convener 2. The SAC will recommend the norms of packaging in jute materials, as per the JPM Act, 1987.
3. The validity of the aforesaid constituted SAC will be for a period of three years from the date of publication of this Resolution in the Gazette of India.
