का.आ. २६१(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम १९५६ (१९५६ का ४८) की धारा ३ के खंड (क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त (भूमि अर्जन) को असम राज्य में नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या ५३ के ६.२५० कि.मी. से १०.४०० कि.मी.तक के भूखण्ड का निर्माण (चार लेन का बनाने/चौड़ा करने आदि), अनुरक्षण, प्रबंधन और प्रचालन के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का पालन करने के लिए इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से सक्षम प्राधिकारी के रूप में प्राधिकृत करती है ।

S.O. 261(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Land Acquisition), Cachar, Silchar as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from km 6.250 to km 10.400 of the National Highway No. 53 for building (widening / four-laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation in the State of Assam as specified in the Schedule given below.
