NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th Novermber, 2016

S.O. 3552(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 14 of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970), the Central Government, after consulting the Central Council of Indian Medicine, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to the said Act, namely:-

In the Second Schedule to the said Act, in PART I relating to "Ayurveda and Siddha", under the heading "Chhattisgarh", for serial number 9C, and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, and shall be deemed to have been substituted, namely :-

	"Ayurvedacharya (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)	B.A.M.S.	From 2015 onwards, subject to permission granted for admission by the Central Government to the following colleges, namely:- 1) Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthi Government Ayurved College, Raipur, 2) Rajiv Lochan Ayurved Medical College, Chandikhuri Durg, 3) Chhattisgarh Ayurvedic Medical College, Rajnandgaon.
	Ayurved Vachaspati	M.D. (Ayurveda)	From 2013 onwards, subject to permission granted to Shri Narayan Prasad AwasthiGovernment Ayurved College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh for admission by Central Government.".
