का.आ. 3550(अ).—के (cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय सरकार के संतु(cid:7397) हो ािने पर (cid:7408)क लोकनहत म(cid:7286) ऐसा करना अपेन(cid:6979)त है, औ(cid:7378)ोनगक र्र्नाद अनधननयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) क(cid:7409) धारा 2 के ख(cid:7003)ड (ढ) के उपखंड (vi) के उपबंध(cid:7298) के अनुसरण म(cid:7286) र(cid:6979)ा (cid:7079)नत(cid:7020)ठान म(cid:7286) लगे उ(cid:7378)ोग(cid:7298) क(cid:7409) र्सेाएं ोि (cid:7408)क औ(cid:7378)ोनगक र्र्नाद अनधननयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) क(cid:7409) (cid:7079)म अनुसूची क(cid:7409) (cid:7079)र्नन(cid:7397) 8 म(cid:7286) ानमल ह(cid:7289), को ैिसा (cid:7408)क इस मं(cid:7074)ालय क(cid:7409) (cid:7408)दनांक 24.05.2016 क(cid:7409) अनधसूचना (cid:7367)ारा उ(cid:7334) अनधननयम के (cid:7079)योनि के नलए (cid:7408)दनांक 22.06.2016 से छ: मास क(cid:7409) कार्लानध के नलए लोक उपयोगी र्सेा अनधसूनचत (cid:7408)कया गया ा।

अत:, अब, औ(cid:7378)ोनगक र्र्नाद अनधननयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) क(cid:7409) धारा 2 के ख(cid:7003)ड (ढ) के उपखंड (vi) के पर(cid:7008)तुक (cid:7367)ारा (cid:7079)द(cid:7275) न(cid:7334)य(cid:7298) का (cid:7079)योग करते (cid:7263)ए, के (cid:7008)(cid:7076)ीय सरकार उ(cid:7334) उ(cid:7378)ोग को उपरो(cid:7334) अनधननयम के (cid:7079)योनि के नलए (cid:7408)दनांक 22.12.2016 से छ: मास क(cid:7409) कार्लानध के नलए लोक उपयोगी र्सेा घोनषत करती है।

र्राीि अरोा, संयु(cid:7334) सनर्च 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th November, 2016
S.O. 3550(E).—Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that in pursuance of the provisions of sub-clause (vi) of the clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the services engaged in industry 'Defence establishments' which is covered by item 8 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947 ) to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the said Act, as was notified for a period of six months with effect from 22.06.2016 vide this Ministry's Notification dated 24.05.2016.
And whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that public interest requires the extension of the said period by a further period of six months.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, the Central Government hereby declares the said Industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the aforesaid Act, for a period of six months with effect from 22nd December, 2016.
