(ii) भारतीय मानक 2026(भाग 1): 1977 के अनुसार (cid:7079)नतबाधा र्ो(cid:7016)टता/ाट(cid:6981)स(cid:7416)कट (cid:7079)नतबाधा ता लोड हानन का माप;

(iii) भारतीय मानक 2026(भाग 1): 1977 के अनुसार ू(cid:7008)य लोड हानन और करंट क(cid:7409) माप;

(iv) भारतीय मानक 2026(भाग 2): 1977 के अनुसार तापमानर् ृन(cid:7373) परी(cid:6979)ण;

(v) भारतीय मानक 2026(भाग 1): 1977 के अनुसार ाट(cid:6981)स(cid:7416)कट परी(cid:6979)ण;

MINISTRY OF POWER

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 16th December, 2016

S.O. 4062(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 14 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Central Government, in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Power number S.O.185 (E), dated the 12th January, 2009, namely:-

In the said notification,-

(A) for paragraph 1, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-

"(1) Every distribution transformer being manufactured, commercially purchased or sold in India shall – (a) meet the compliance requirements of the type test parameters, namely:-

(i) measurement of winding resistance as per IS 2026 (part I):1977; (ii) measurement of impedance voltage or short circuit impedance and load loss as per IS 2026 (part I):1977;

(iii) measurement of no-load loss and current as per IS 2026 (part I):1977; (iv) temperature-rise test as per IS 2026 (part 2):1977; (v) short-circuit test as per IS 2026 (part I):1977;

(b) carry Bureau of Indian Standards certification mark.";

(B) in paragraph 2, in sub-paragraph (2), for the existing Table, the following Tables shall be substituted, namely:-

"Table 1 (Valid up to 31st December, 2016)

Table 2 (Effective from 1st January, 2017 onwards)

Table 3 (Effective from 1st January, 2017 onwards)

(C) in paragraph 3,-

(i) in sub-paragraph (1), for the letters, figures, brackets and word "IS 1180 (Part 1):1989", the letters, figures, brackets and word "IS 1180 (Part 1):2014" shall be substituted; and

(ii) in sub-paragraph (2), for the letters, figures, brackets and word "IS 1180 (Part 1):1989", the letters, figures, brackets and word "IS 1180 (Part 1):2014" shall be substituted;

(D) in paragraph 4, for sub-paragraph (1), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-

"(1) Sampling for verification and challenge shall be carried out after the deliveries are made to the utilities, who shall forthwith provide the transformer on random selection basis to the Bureau for check testing on returnable basis.".

(E) for Annexure A (referred to in paragraph 5), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

* The Dynamic ability of the transformer to withstand the short circuit to be shown and its effect on the other routine tests.
