का.आ.का.आ.का.आ.का.आ. 60606060(अ)(अ)(अ)(अ)....———— जबकि मेसर्स इंडिगो एयरलाइंस िवमान VT-IFP एवं मैसर्स कु वैत एयरवेज िवमान 9K-APA दिनांक 30.11.2016 को मु ंबई में गंभीर घटना के िशकार हो गए।
और जबकि, के न्!ीय सरकार को यह प्रतीत होता है कि इस गंभीर घटना के कारण और अंशदायी कारकों का अन्वेषण और निर्धारण किया जाना, और भविष्य में ऐसी गंभीर घटना की पुनरावृति से बचने के लिए सिफारिशें करना समीचीन है।
अब, वायुयान (दुर्घटना एवं घटना जांच) नियमावली, 2012 के िनयम 11 (1) में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते 8ए, के न्!ीय सरकार एत9ारा गंभीर घटना की औपचारिक जांच किए जाने का िनदेश देती है।
तदनुसार, के न्!ीय सरकार एत9ारा :ी आर. एस. पासी, उप िनदेशक, एएआईबी की अध्यक्षता में निम्नलिखित सदस्य के साथ एक जांच समिति नियुक्त करती है:—
(i) :ी जसबीर सिह लारगा, सहायक िनदेशक, एएआईबी सदस्य के रूप में
सिमित, जब भी अपेक्षित होगा, अन्य विशेषFों/एजेंसियों की सहायता भी लेगी।
समिति का मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में होगा।
समिति अधिमानतः छह महीने के भीतर इसकी जांच पूरी करके अपनी रिपोर्ट के न्!ीय सरकार को प्रस्तुत करेगी।

New Delhi, the 30th December, 2016
S.O. 60(E).— Whereas M/s Indigo Airlines aircraft VT-IFP and M/s Kuwait Airways aircraft 9K-APA were involved in a serious incident at Mumbai on 30.11.2016.
And whereas, it appears to the Central Government that it is expedient to investigate and determine the causes and contributory factors leading to the said serious incident and make recommendations to avoid recurrence of such serious incidents in future.
Now, in the exercise of the powers conferred by the Rules 11(1) of the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2012, the Central Government hereby directs that a formal inquiry in the serious incident be made.
Accordingly, the Central Government hereby appoints a Committee of Inquiry headed by Sh. R. S. Passi, Deputy Director, AAIB with following member:
(i) Sh. Jasbir Singh Larhga, Assistant Director, AAIB as member
The committee will also take the assistance of other experts/agencies whenever required.
The headquarters of the Committee will be at New Delhi.
The Committee will complete its inquiry and submit its report to the Central Government preferably within six months.
