सा.का.िन. सा.का.िन. सा.का.िन. सा.का.िन. 40404040(अ).(अ).(अ).(अ).————कें (cid:11)ीय मोटर यान नियम, 1989 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रारूप िनयम, जिसे कें (cid:11)ीय सरकार मोटर यान अधिनियम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 64 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते )ए बनाने का प्रस्ताव करती है, को उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 212 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा यथापेक्षित उनके द्वारा संभा5य प्रभावित सभी 5यक्तियों की जानकारी के लिए प्रकाशित किया जाता है और नोटिस दिया जाता है कि उक्त प्रारूप नियमों पर उस तारीख से जब इस अधिसूचना की प्रतियां, भारत के राजपत्र में यथाप्रकाशित, आम जनता को उपलब्ध कराई जाती हैं से तीस दिन की अवधि की समाप्ति के पश्चात् विचार किया जाएगा ।
2 कोई आक्षेप या सुझाव, संयुक्त सचिव (परिवहन), सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय, परिवहन भवन, पाFलयामेंट स्ट्रीट, नई दिल्ली-110001 को भेजे जा सकें गे ।
3. कोई आक्षेप या सुझाव जो उक्त प्रारूप नियमों के संबंध में पूवKक्त अवधि की समाप्ति से पूर्व किसी 5यक्ति से प्राप्त होते हैं, पर कें (cid:11)ीय सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।

1. (1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम कें (cid:11)ीय मोटर यान (............संशोधन) नियम, 2017 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके अंतिम प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. कें (cid:11)ीय मोटर यान नियम, 1989 में, नियम 77 में, उपिनयम (1) के खंड (iiiiiiii) में "पीली पृष्ठभूिम सिहत, काले रंग में रजिस्ट्रीकरण चिTन और संख्या" शब्दों के स्थान पर "गहरी नीली पृष्ठभूिम सिहत, पीले रंग में रजिस्ट्रीकरण चिTन और संख्या" शब्द रखे जाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January, 2017
G.S.R. 40(E).—The following draft rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 64 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the said Act, for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will be taken into consideration after expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of this notification as published in the Gazette of India are made available to the public.
2. Objections or suggestions, if any, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (Transport ), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Transport Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110 001.
3. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period aforesaid shall be considered by the Central Government.
DRAFT RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (__ Amendment) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, in rule 77, in sub-rule (1), clause (ii), for the words "with yellow background, the registration mark and the number being in black", the words "with deep blue background, the registration mark and the number being in yellow" shall be substituted.
