RESOLUTION

New Delhi, the 17th January, 2017

No. 47-31/2012-DM-III—In continuation of the Resolution dated 26th February, 2013 and subsequent amendments dated 5th April, 2013, 17th March, 2015 and 25th May, 2015 regarding constitution of a multi- stakeholder National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (NPDRR), it has been decided to replace the existing entries under Sl No. 5 (a), (c) and Sl No. 14-Annexure-I of the Resolution, as under:

5 (a) Tenure

The tenure of the platform shall be upto 2030.

(In place of - The tenure of platform shall be 15 years with effect from the date of Notification of this Resolution.)

The platform shall meet once in three years. However, the power to relax the condition shall rest with the Chairman of NPDRR.

The Resolution dated 26th February, 2013 and subsequent amendments as mentioned above stand amended to the above extent. All other contents remain the same.

ORDER

ORDERED that a copy of the Resolution be communicated to all the Members of the National Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction as listed in Annexure-I of the Resolution dated the 26th February, 2013.

ORDERED also that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
